Cleansing Concepts is an exclusive facility for cleansing & detoxification. We offer treatments that assist individuals in the removal of harmful toxins from the body. We offer colon hydrotherapy, infrared sauna therapy, Bio Mat enhanced ionic footbath treatments and Fit Body Wraps. All services provided are safe and effective. We give our clients the support they need while cleansing. We use state of the art equipment and all employees are fully trained, certified and insured. History

Established in 2005.

Cleansing Concepts was started by Vanessa Galati, Certified Colon Hygienist. She started her business in 2005 in Brooklyn, NY under another name. Since then Vanessa has relocated to Westbury, Long island to be closer to her family and friends, and to help spread the word about the importance of colon health. Vanessa is compassionate and eager to help others. Vanessa has found that cleansing and detoxification is the secret to health and longevity. She guides here clients on a holistic path and pays special attentions to their individual needs. Vanessa has a passion for health & wellness and enjoys educating people on ways of improving their quality of life.

I absolutely love this place. Very Very clean. Up to date equipment. Excellent staff very professional and friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
I wish the prices was a lot cheaper. Very expensive for a colonic. Thank god for groupon and for there special package they offered me otherwise i would not be able to afford it. Great place!!!

I visited cleansing concepts because of a groupon I purchased. I had no problem making an appointment. There was a detox i had to follow before coming in but i totally forgot. I arrived and this place is very serene and welcoming. The front desk receptionist is very nice. I waited and within 5 mins I was taken back to the room where Vanessa explained how to insert the tube and that she would be back to turn on the water. The experience was great. I felt so «light». The groupon included an ionic foot bath and it was supposed to show all the toxics in your body. I felt like the staff didnt fully explain this process, they just sat me down and gave me a chart on what the colors indicated. Debating if I want to try again

I have been going to Cleansing Concepts for about three years. I am always treated with respect and courtesy. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and efficient. as is the owner Vanessa., When you walk in you will see a beautiful chandelier and an elegant waiting room. I usually do either the foot bath or the infrared sauna or both. The rooms and equipment are extremely clean and comfortable. I always enjoy going there, it is very relaxing and I feel like I am pampering myself while I do something good and healthy for my body. I highly recommend Cleansing Concepts!,

While this was not my first Colonic however this was my first one with Cleansing Concepts. First, the entrance is very welcoming as is the staff. I had a Groupon and had no problem when using it when making my appointment… I was taken to a rm explained how things work. At first I was a bit apprehensive about inserting the sterile tube myself but once completed I was checked on and advised I was ready to begin my cleanse…
Fast forward 30min later… I FEEL GREAT…
I really enjoyed my cleanse and prior to leaving I paid for two more visits along with 2 foot detox services.

Scheduling an appointment was a breeze, I called Tuesday and was able to get an appointment for the next day. This was my first visit to Cleansing Concepts and it was most definitely a good experience. Staff took the time to explain the procedure to me and told me what to expect. Had a colon hydrotherapy session, staff was friendly, knowledgeable, location is clean, welcoming and organized. The colon hydrotherapy session was not the most pleasant but I do feel 20 pounds lighter. I felt it was so effective I purchased 2 additional sessions so I will definitely be returning.

Where do I began. I have be coming here for several years now and have absolutely no complaints. Vanessa is the owner and she is awesome as well as her staff.
The Colenz — Highly recommended that you take the fiber, or even the clay they have for purchase it’s make the process smooth and less cramping depending on much much build up you have in your colon. This is the best way to get a colonic I have done research and also had it done other ways and this is truly the safest and best way. And if you are into Hot Yoga. I recommend doing a class of hot yoga and getting cleansed after. You will feel amazing and a lot of toxins will go out. They have 3 locations which are in Garden City, Smithtown, and Brooklyn. Not only do they offer the Colenz, but they have the Fitwrap– it makes you sweat and lose inches
The Footbath– it lets you know what toxins are in your body
The Suna, and a few more services that I haven’t tried yet.

I’ve been using Cleansing Concept’s services since 2010. I love the Colenz machines. I’d never had any colon cleansing therapy prio to this so it was a little unusual to get used to, but the people at the place are incredibly helpful and knowledgable. To start with I did 15 cleanses in 30 days. I felt very ‘clean’ on the inside. I also have done dozens of the detox foot baths. That helps to getting the toxins out and it really helped me identify what was going on in my body. I miss not living so close to the office now. I highly recommend the services they offer. It is a family owned business which makes it nice, too.

I was in the Martha’s vineyard diet which recommends a colon cleanse. I came across this place on Groupon decided to give it a try. On entry the environment is zen like. Pleasant enough greeting. Clear explanation of there process. I was told to massage my own stomach which was suppose to help release build up on the colon walls. which was really hard when ur trying to focus and relax. I was checked on ever so often. After I was done I was told I had a lot of undigested food which I didn’t understand do to the fact I just finished a 21 day detox. I was offered a pill in a cup unpackaged and told it was probiotics. Have b really trusting to take something like that. Then I had the ionic foot bath which was a confusing experience for me. I was told I was dehydrated which was confusing due to the fact I drink high alkaline water in amounts over 32 oz. Daily. In addition I had acne and signs of bread pasta n yeast. But anyone who knows me I have clear acne free skin and never eat carbs. I was told I should use there products for my acne prone skin which clearly bid non existent. The staff was overall very pleasant. But not for me.

The new location is fabulous. More rooms, elegant surroundings, spa like atmosphere. Very profesional and warm staff help you to feel comfortable in an otherwise potentially uncomfortable procedure. Privacy and hygiene are their priority and you feel right at home.

i don’t know where to begin — i have been coming to cleansing concepts for a couple of years because i always want my body to function optimally. i have been very stressed lately and haven’t made it there in a quite a while. i started feeling very fatigued, a bit moody and my body was changing in a way i couldn’t understand or reverse. i had been eating as usual and exercise like mad! i emailed vanessa and told her i wasn’t feeling well, i asked her if she could recommend a juice cleanse and also put me in for 2 treatments of the colon hydro cleanse. she responded to me within hours to say that she had her own juice fast (IT’S DELICIOUS) that would be delivered straight to my door within 48 hours and gave me 2 appts for that week.
i have so much more to say — but i hate reading long reviews, so i hope this helps!

I was disappointed. The staff wasn’t very friendly and I felt very uncomfortable. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in and when I finally was it was abrupt. I wanted to learn more about the services offered and was brushed off. I wouldn’t go back. When I asked for the manager they said she was out and wouldn’t be back for a couple of days?

I bought the groupon and wanted to try a colon cleanse. I was very glad to have the privacy they provide. I recommend not watching something funny during the procedure, because it hurt to laugh! They recommend a series of 3 cleansings, but I decided not to because I know I got a pretty thorough cleansing. Baby wipes isn’t enough to clean up– they should get a bidet because things can get a little messy

The place is very clean and that’s where my positive experience stops. I’ve had colonics before and my understanding is that a technician should stay in the room with you and massage your belly. At this place, it’s all self-​service: the girl tells you to insert the thing and then to massage your stomach the entire time and walk out of the room, then she comes back to tell you that your time is up. I thought that’ what the technician was for is to DO these things for you. There are definitely better places for colonics.

This was my very first time doing a cleanse of this type & had no idea what to expect! It was scary but the girl put me at ease. Have to say I had a lot of cramping but they said it was pretty normal. It was the strangest feeling ever and nothing really happened until almost the end of the session. Once it did happen it felt so liberating. I hadn’t gone in almost a month and once it began to happen it fe, t like it would never stop! I’m still teeing to wrap my head around the whole thing since I have nothing to compare it to ya know. The girls recommended a total of 3 sessions to cleanse the 3 stomach chambers so I would have to go back 2 more times. I forget the cost since I bought it on groupon a while back. I think I want to go and hopefully it won’t be as painful (cramping) as the first time. We shall see… Overall I would recommend this place because the girls were so nice.

Vanessa is so sweet and caring, she even hugged me after my very first visit. She couldn’t have been more accommodating. And the actual process was the most comfortable and private I’ve ever experienced… and the price is extremely reasonable. I felt so relaxed afterward, and it was a very gentle process. Cleansing Concepts is the answer to my prayers. I live on the East End of Long Island, in the Hamptons. Both Vanessa and Cleansing Concepts were the answer to my prayers. I love to cleanse and I love colon hydrotherapy. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated after a visit to CC.
The facility is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Vanessa is professional, warm, and friendly. It is a very satisfying experience and a favorite destination for me.
