Bobby was a pleasure to work with. The turnaround time on getting an approval was fantastic and Bobby explained everything very thoroughly. He also worked with me on how best to prepare my application since I by no means had perfect credit. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking at purchasing or refinancing a home!

First, I must point out that when I see overly positive reviews regarding a professional– i’m a bit wary. I try to figure out if those reviews are real, or manufactured via some means. That was me back in May of this year (2015), reading the glowing reviews for Bobby Papadopoulos on every website imaginable. The reviews appeared genuine; so, I reached out to him. That was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.
My situation was unique in some ways. My income and credit score were a plus, but due to other mortgage debts purchasing my new home made countless mortgage professionals scratch their head. I reached out to Bobby after other attempts to obtain a mortgage resulted in unreasonably high interest rates or other unfavorable terms. Bobby is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable; he was quickly able to leverage my Veterans status to creatively assemble a VA loan package for me. Moreover, the terms were great– surpassing all previous options, from other lenders, by a large margin.
As normally is the case, after securing a pre-​approval and getting into contract on the property there were numerous obstacles to navigate. Bobby skillfully and proactively helped me navigate the process like an Army General. No other service professional that I have ever encountered (not even my doctor) has been more attentive or more on top of things. This extremely high level of service spanned the entire length of the process – all the way to closing.
If you are ever seeking a mortgage (VA loan, conventional or otherwise), and need sound expertise and top tier service… you would be doing yourself a disservice by not reaching out to Bobby at Contour Mortgage. He’s is my «go to» mortgage professional– from hence forth. …And I will not let anyone that I consider a friend enter into the realm of purchasing a property without giving him a call.

My husband and I found our dream home for sale in Brooklyn in 2012. We were so thankful that a friend recommended Bobby for our mortgage needs. Bobby, from day one, was straightforward, explained the mortgage financials clearly and explained all of our options. He stayed on top of all our bank documents and either emailed or phoned us everyday to report on the progress. He acutely navigated around mortgage landmines, and as a result we were quickly approved for a mortgage, and went into contract. But as with most home seekers in Brooklyn, after being in contract for nearly a year, the seller found a loop hole and pulled out, and we had to start the home search all over again.
Bobby, during this time, never wavered in his commitment to my husband and I. He encouraged us in our new search, and maintained and updated our file so that we never lost our pre-​approved mortgage status, which gave us great leverage in this unbelievable market ! Within months we found a better home to purchase, and our mortgage was in place and ready to go. Less than 24 months later, we called Bobby to refinance. Because of Bobby’s expertise, we refinanced within six week, and saved a considerable (huge !) amount of money.
Bobby knows this industry and its players like the back of his hand and he gets results. Highest recommendation!

Recently me and my husband purchased our first home. After dealing with a horrible mortgage company for 5 months our lawyer set us up with Bobby Papdopoulos it was the best thing that could have happened. Bobby went out of his way to help us with anything we needed even meeting us on weekends and we were able to close within 2 weeks of meeting him. We never thought the day would come that we would finally close on our house and we give all the credit to contour mortgage and especially Bobby I hope others have the experience we did. I recently purchased my first home and after working with different banks/​mortgage companies, I ultimately chose Contour Mortgage. In today’s market, it can be quite difficult to secure a loan, even with great credit. The «bigger banks» proved more difficult to work with, based on their aggressive minimum level requirements. I chose Contour because of their ease of working with them, excellent customer service, and namely because the help of their stellar loan officer, Bobby Papadopoulos. Bobby was there with me every step of the way from beginning to end. He helped facilitate everything the bank needed to ensure my loan would be secured (and prior to that ensured that I would be able to receive a pre-​approval). With Contour and Bobby’s help you get a level of customer service and personal attention that far exceeded any other experience I’ve had with other banks. Bobby also helped stay on top of every aspect of my file, even when a potential issue appeared, he helped advise me on what needed to be done to rectify the issue. Working with Bobby and Contour made it feel like they were there with you to make sure you got the loan, and they would not leave you hanging.
I truly recommend Contour, and the services of Bobby Papadopoulos to anyone looking to buy a home!

Bobby Papadopoulos is a fantastic originator. We had started our lending process with another bank, but were having trouble getting things to line up. Based on a recommendation, we gave Bobby a call. We had already put an offer in on the property, so we needed to get everything in order extremely quickly. Our broker suggested that there was no way that any lender could pull things off as quickly as we wanted, but Bobby kept things moving. On top of that, his rates on our jumbo loan were about .25 better than our other lender was quoting us.
We had a round of complicated issues related to the NYC DOB, etc., and Bobby was able to work through things and make things happen for our loan. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Okay here’s the deal. I have to give credit where it’s due. I dealt with Bobby Papadopoulos (think spelling is correct) and to be honest, with my credit I was expecting somewhat of a hassle. The reason why im motivated to review here is because both my wife and I could not be more satisfied with the service Bobby gave us. Yes he walked us through the process but every hurdle he handled and made the entire process painless. I’m not very trusting of mortgage brokers (who is?!) but i’m telling you, this is the guy you want to deal with. No bs & no games which i appreciated. To put it bluntly, if i bought another house i would go back to Bobby… But since i have no intention of buying another house for at least the next 30 years, i at least wanted to write him a good review as a thank you! He earned it!
