3 High Painting

We have used 3 High Painting three times now. They are one of the best painting companies we have ever used. Their attention to detail and superior customer service makes them stand out from the others. James and his crew are just the best.

We recently bought our resale and needed someone to paint interior walls. Fairly big job, 4 – 5 days work, and most paint quotes were all over the place. James, the owner gave us a very competitive quote for Eggshell interior walls with Dunn Edwards paint that we pick out. He also painted all closets, doors, trim, baseboards, a few linen cabinets from maple to white, and a ceiling inset. We wanted to change the color of our stair banister but were getting conflicting suggestions from all the painters we interviewed. Some flat out refused, saying it will not look good since it is already a finished wood product. James said he has a special «stain» guy that will come out and do it. The bump in price from painting stairs to staining stairs was around $ 800, which I thought was a good «bang for the buck» upgrade. James also gave a great suggestion on going 50% on a wall color to achieve a lighter tone. We were not aware of that, and it made that room really stand out.
His paint guys showed up on time everyday, the «stain» guys showed up later in the day after the paint guys and even worked till 8:30pm one night. When all was done, the stairs looked great. From an old maple to a shiny dark espresso that really pops out at you. Painting of the walls were done well also. Communication with the foreman on site was handled well and all needs were satisfied. I would use them again for my next paint project.
