I have always had a strong disdain for all things dentistry, but Dr. Lew has truly changed my views toward seeing the dentist. He will always treat you right and work with you to give you the best possible care. I now live in Riverside and happily make the drive to see Dr. Lew despite being over an hour away. Dr. Lew goes out of his way to ensure his patients are comfortable and well cared for — as such, I would highly recommend Dr. Lew to anyone in search of a reliable, compassionate dentist!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lew for several years now. Even though I live in Newport, he is well worth the drive due to his friendliness and skills in dentistry. The thing that sticks out to me the most are his ethics. He always looks out for your best interests and explains his reasons to you in an honest and forthcoming manner. Each time I’ve come in for an appointment I’ve never waited at all and the staff is attentive, friendly, casual and very easy to work with. The level of personal service is unparalleled at this practice and I’ve never had a better experience than with any other Doctor or Dental office by far. Very Highly Recommended!

Great guy. Went into his office hating the dentist & everything that had to do with it but now I don’t exactly dread going to the dentist. Really tries to work with what’s best for your situation & is very welcoming & warm which always puts you at ease. Highly recommend

Dr Lew treats you with love. He wants you to keep smiling so he does everything in your best interest to make sure you have the best teeth you can have. The staff will not are care if all the insurance paperwork and make sure you are well informed of your benefits so you can take advantage of what you pay for. Be sure to get your cleaning every 6 months !!!

Dr. Lew is simply wonderful. Friendly, understanding, gentle, fair, and trustworthy. What more could you want from a dentist? His partner is a pediatric dentist, Dr. Kunihiro, and he is simply amazing as well. What a wonderful duo!

Dr. Lew is a great dentist and Kathy is a wonderful hygienist. They are a happy office staff and everyone is very professional. I have been going to Dr. Lew for over 15 years and have always had great care and he provides treatment options with full explanations should you need them. I’ve never got to pick my own color toothbrush however like a previous reviewer does. Next time I’m going to demand Pink !!

My family and I (family of 4) have been going to Dr. Brent Lew for more than 15 years. Over this time, we’ve consistently had outstanding results and the resulting beautiful smiles. Dr. Lew attempts to use the most conservative options and has performed the whole gamut of procedures on our family including crowns, veneers, fillings, oral appliances, and the standard regular cleaning and checkups. Within the next couple of months, Dr. Lew will be doing some gum grafting to resolve the problem of gum recession. The attached photos show some recent work (before and after) that Dr. Lew did to repair two chipped bottom teeth. I’m 56 years old and, due to excellent and conservative dental care through Dr. Lew, my teeth are in great shape.
Dr. Lew not only has a wealth of knowledge and experience with various dental procedures, he has outstanding artistic ability, consistently delivers the highest quality results, and always follows through and delivers what he’s promised (and oftentimes more). In addition, he has a gentle touch, is patient, empathetic, and has a knack for putting patients at ease.
Dr. Lew’s patient-​centered practice is geared toward comfort, outstanding outcome, and a fair price. Although our insurance is out of network for Dr. Lew’s practice, our insurance consistently pays 100% of the fees charged because his fees are reasonable. Unlike some other dentists we’ve used in the past, Dr. Lew’s primary interest is outstanding results at a fair price (rather than pure profit motive). We trust him 100% and know he has our best interest at heart.

Dr. Lew has been my dentist for many years. He was recommended by a coworker who is also a registered nurse. I have been very pleased with all my interactions with Dr. Lew and his friendly, competent staff over the years. He is a great guy and an outstanding professional!

Dr. Lew is an amazing dentist. He is very gentle and kind. During my visit I didn’t feel any pain at all and he would frequently ask if I was ok. He cares about his patients and does top notch work!

The office is now located on the second floor of the right side of this building (if you’re looking at it from the street). Go up the stairs in the front right side of the building and they are the first door on the left.
I’ve been seeing Dr Lew for almost 10 years now after «graduating» from Dr. Kunihiro (a pediatric dentist/​orthodontist that he shares a dental practice with) for no longer meeting the age requirements for a pediatric dentist. I guess we all have to grow up and see an adult dentist sometime, haha.
My dental hygienist and Dr Lew are amazing. Dr Lew is great at only doing procedures that need to be done. No running up a bill of unnecessary procedures here! I had my first dental surgical procedure last year and he was great at explaining the options. He also took a look at my insurance and showed me that if we waited three months then the procedure would be 100% covered by my insurance or I could do it now and pay out of pocket for a portion of it. Since it wasn’t urgent I chose to delay it and save the cash. When it came time for the procedure he was very detail oriented and great at explaining exactly how I would feel afterwards.
I still get to pick out the color of my new toothbrush after ever cleaning and sometimes the secretary also lets me sneak one of the toys from the kids basket. I’m not sure I’ll ever fully grow-​up. I highly recommend Dr Lew. Great dentist!

I am a newer patient of Dr. Lew, but I have had several other dentists (and plenty of work done, unfortunately). Out of all the dentists I have been to, I would have to say Dr. Lew is by far the best.
I had to have some repair work done to a crown that I had put in previously. Before, the procedure, he explained the situation and all my options which was very important since I have to pay out of pocket. I asked Dr. Lew what his suggestions were with further helped me make the best choice for the care of my teeth. He made me feel completely at ease during the whole procedure. Which did not take as long as I thought.
Dr. Lew also has a sound network of reliable specialists (that he does not hesitate to refer to) who also make me feel just as comfortable as Dr. Lew does. I have been to several (3) of them and they were all top notch.
I do not hesitate to refer Dr. Lew to any friends or family that need a dentist.

Dr. Lew is an absolutely top-​notch dentist. I’ve been seeing Dr. Lew for years; both for regular check ups and repairing chipped teeth. He is a perfectionist and treats your teeth as if they were his own. Not only does he do exceptional work, he is personable, explains your options throughly and unobjectively, and never makes you feel rushed. I even go out of network to see Dr. Lew because you simply cannot find a better dentist.

It’s not everyday you go to a dentist and walk out with a smile, normally we associate dentistry with fear and dread, who want’s to be told that their teeth are falling apart or that their eating habits must change? I can tell you not this guy.
Going to Dr. Bret Lew is much different then most dentist I went to, he is current with whats going on with the world, easy to talk to, makes sure your comfortable and well informed. He showed me exactly what he was doing; for example when I was getting my root canal done I learned a lot about the whole process and procedure, I was shown how the tools worked and how the operation was done with the tools.
Not only is it a fun environment to get dentist work done on your teeth but he completes his work very quickly and accurately, I have never needed anything redone everything is spot on and complete.
I was referred to Dr. Lew by another great Dentist Dr. Kunihiro who also works at the same office. «He was my dentist growing up».

I have been visiting Dr. Lew since I «graduated» from my childhood dentist. He is nothing less than exceptional. He is always professional and someone I can trust to give an honest opinion and do honest work. Going to the dentist can be a nerve-​wrecking experience, however Dr. Lew will ease your mind and make the experience more enjoyable.

Dr. Lew has been my dentist for a few years and I trust him implicitly as a professional. I live in Irvine, and there are many dentists in this area, but a trustworthy, competent dentist is definitely worth the 30-​minute drive. My wife has also switched to Dr. Lew and so will my little 16-​month-​old daughter when she is a bit older. I rarely (never) post reviews but I think Dr. Lew will earn your confidence if you are searching for a dental professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Lew for several years now, and recommend him without hesitation. He is the most skilled, meticulous dentist I have ever been to. He is very aware of his patients comfort level, and will take every measure to keep you relaxed and pain-free…which results in a very stress free visit.
Dr. Lew is also a nice guy. He will explain things thoroughly to you, and you won’t feel rushed. I don’t think you can go wrong here.
