I have visited DMC Electronics several times to audition a number of PSB Speakers. The place is not very large, and frankly I had a bit of trouble to find the doors the first time. However, it has a good space for auditions and David can set-​up anything out what he has. There is no pressure, no sales pitch… you listen and if you like, you can talk about the price too ;-). If you like, he can also explain a lot of things well.
Finally I have pulled the trigger on Imagine T3, top of the line model. David was very accomodating as I was picking up on a different day and helped me with the loading. It has been about 6 six month since my pruchase and I am still very happy with my purchase, with the service and with the experience overal (price was fantastic too).

Truth be told, i haven’t been here for a few years. However, i bought all my PSB Image speakers here. Being a college student at the time, i couldn’t afford a full set right away, so I bought them at different times (pair of bookshelves, center, and pair of towers). Prices were very good, especially on the blemished or grade B stock speakers that i bought. They have a wide selection of PSB and other quality speaker brands you just can’t find at Fry’s or Bestbuy and at many different price ranges, from budget to high-​end. Just don’t expect to find any $ 200 home theater-​in-​a-​box speaker systems.

Incredible customer service. A good selection of equipment. The owner, David, is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. For God sake people, just avoid Best Buy and FRY’s and go here.

What an amazing business and owner!!! Dave runs a business where customer service is foremost to a successful operation. I bought a full set of 5.1 PSB Alpha series speakers from him about 5 years ago at an amazing price.
I recently approached Dave when my electronic services technician repaired my Sony A/​V receiver. The tech mentioned that the reason my amp went into protect mode was because the left channel speaker blew the amp’s output driver.
Dave mentioned that my speakers were out-​of-​warranty but that he would take care of the repair for just the speaker’s shipping cost. A few days later he calls to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the speaker after all. I was elated at the news cause I would rather have to replace my older A/​V amp than my speaker setup.
Dave could have gone as far as to try and sell me on a speaker replacement, sold me on a higher end expensive speaker system, or simply not accept an out-​of-​warranty repair. Instead he exhibited a fine level of service that is hard to come by these days.
I will remain a loyal customer to DMC Electronics and would highly recommend them for all your speaker needs.

My experience with David at DMC Electronics was amazing. I drive all the way from Hermosa Beach to go there, and this is my first Unilocal review ever, so that should tell you how something about great this place is.
David is a true expert and will help you figure out what the best products are for your needs. I’m the type of person that normally researches everything online a ton. Golden advice for audio stuff: don’t do that. Seriously, just go talk to David and demo some things. You’ll end up with better equipment at a better price this way. You can try anything you want for as long as you want, with absolutely no pressure. It’s an awesome environment, not sterile/​uptight, more like demoing systems in someone’s own home. It’s a cool place, fish tanks and all.
I originally went in for an integrated amp (NAD D 3020). My unit turned out to have a defect with the bluetooth and as David is an authorized dealer, it was super easy to swap out for another.
The new amp quickly got me interested in speakers, so I did my usual online research. I had never even heard of PSB, but when he showed them to me, I was sold almost instantly. David really knows what he has in stock and will tell you exactly what he thinks of everything. It’s a huge help. I got the PSB X2T floorstanders and couldn’t be happier.
Last thing is that you’ll truly get an AMAZING deal. I don’t know how he does it, but it’s substantially cheaper than online prices. With the quality of service I’d pay even more. Definitely will go back for anything audio related I ever need, as well as recommend him to anybody.

David is the guy to see if you need audio equipment! In the past year, I’ve bought a Salamander audio rack, PSB headphones, and a NAD integrated amp and CD player at DMC Electronics. David is knowledgeable about audio (happily answers any questions), down to earth, and provides great service.

It’s a 40 minute drive from where I live… and it’s worth it! … David is a sole proprietor who has weathered the economic ups and downs since 1998. I bought speakers from him in 2008 and returned this year to upgrade my system.
He’s knowledgeable; he told me what speakers to retain (when he could have tried just to make more money). He took the time to figure out a problem with my sub-​woofer and offered the alternative repair/​replacement approaches. …And yes, his prices are discounted on products that are not typically discounted.
I’m still enjoying speakers I purchased here 6 years ago and looking forward to the new ones. For my dollars and piece of mind, I’ll keep returning here.

I bought some PSB tower speakers here and discovered David’s shop through a dealer locator website for PSB. The auditioning experience could not have been better. I brought my own CDs and David let me listen in private for as long as I wanted and to any speakers I chose. He gave me a great deal when I decided to buy and I returned a few days later to get some PSB surround speakers from him. If only all retail experiences went this smoothly and were as satisfying! I recommend DMC strongly. If, like me, you don’t like hard sell places (and you know what I mean) give David a try. You’ll be happy you did. I’m recommending him to my friends.

DMC Electronics is the place to go if you want better audio than what is offered in Best Buy or Fry’s. David specializes in PSB and NAD equipment, but has other high end products. He’s a nice guy and fun to talk to. My brother-​in-​law who is very knowledgable in computers and media, told me to go with PSB speakers. They are much better quality than many other brands. I started with two bookshelves, then later bought the sub woofer and center. The quality is amazing and I got a very good deal. He’s honest and knows the business. I’ll go back here for tweeters in another year or so. He also has open boxed stuff and specials. I looked at the web sight and saw some great bargains. I almost don’t want to share «my audio guy» but now I got what I wanted, i guess I’ll share :)

Been going here for years, the owner is named David and he is a great guy. If you are looking for a local electronics store that has some really nice high-​end speakers, amps, this is the place to stop by. David is very helpful and loves to let you sample his setup, just bring some music or movies and enjoy. The prices are very reasonable. I have purchased several speakers (Martin Logans) and amps, B&K here and would recommend DMC to anyone serious about their audio/​video needs.
