I just went here with my mom and he spent a lot of time explaining everything, very professional, and very courteous. Maybe he got wind of the previous reviews? I’m not sure, but I would recommend him based on my experience with him today.

I’ve been putting off the review for Dr. Dang for a while now. And I feel like it’s time for me to share my experience with Dr. Dang and his office. Long story short, I was diagnosed with RA about a year ago. I’ve been to the office about 7 – 8 times during this period, and it won’t stop there.
First and foremost, Dr. Dang speaks fluent English and Vietnamese. English isn’t my first language, so he communicates with me mostly in English and sometimes. Vietnamese. In my opinions, if you don’t understand certain medical term, then by all mean, ask him to explain it to you in words that you can comprehend. My experience with him so far is nothing but the best. He genuinely cares for your health, your well being, and want you to get better. He also sees you as a person in stead of just another patient that walks through the door. And for that I appreciate Dr. Dang a lot.
Secondly, from my experience, making appointments in advance will guarantee you a spot for checking up in the future. Be proactive in treating your disease, don’t wait for last minutes to call in and ask for refill prescription. Dealing with arthritis in general is tricky, so always be prepared. If you have to walk in because of an unexpected flare, do so because they will you in. But don’t complain for the waiting time.
Lastly, I was intimidated by the front office when I first went there. However, they actually improved over time. And that such a relief. I wanted to especially thank you the office manager for calling my insurance to get me on Enbrel, assisting me a couple of times with the injection until I was familiar with doing it on my own, and making sure the pharmacy delivered my meds on time.

Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this doctor. He’s a quack and runs his office like a cash cow machine. 1^st Red Flag Warning — He has a billboard sign with his name hugely displayed pointing towards Harbor Blvd. This is the thing people do to make money. A real Dr’s office has discreet offices with their names on the front door to their office. On my FIRST and only visit I was asked to fill out forms. This is usual and expected for first time visits to any doctors office however in David Dangs’ office I was asked to fill out a power of attorney form. For those of you who don’t know what this is… it’s a form giving them permission that gives them the right to do whatever they choose to do to you in the case that you can’t answer for yourself. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??? Of course I didn’t sign it and handed in my stack of papers back to the front desk girl and sat down. 2 minutes later I’m called up and told if I HAVE TO sign this form. I told her I’ve never heard of signing such a form for an office visit and that this was a form that hospitals use prior to major life threatening surgery. After her telling me 4 times I have to sign it she finally gave up exhausted with my NO, NOT NOW, NOT EVER going to happen responses. Later a lady took my blood pressure and my whole arm and hand turned blue. I screamed at her to take the damn machine off me and she didn’t. I thought my arm was going to fall off I was in so much pain. Then 5 minutes later she comes back to do it again because she admitted she failed to write down the numbers from the first time. How loud can we scream «INCOMPETENT»? Really really bad staff untrained to say the least. David Dang finally appears and tells me that he doesn’t know why I was referred to him. What a QUACK. I was at the right type of doctor but he obviously doesn’t know what his own title of specialty means. He proceeds to tell me that if I want to be treated by him that I must accept receiving CHEMO THERAPY!!! Are you freaking kidding me? This guy is absolutely INSANE! He actually sat there and told me that EVERY SINGLE ONE of his patients receives chemo therapy and that he administers it right there in his office for you. Oh now I know why ALL his patients are required to sign that damn form! Oh my Lord I can only imagine these poor people who don’t know better giving him money for procedures that they not only don’t need whatsoever but also a procedure that makes you very sick for those of you that don’t know what Chemo Therapy does it kills that bad and the good together but if you don’t have any need for Chemo Therapy whatsoever then he is literally killing people. QUACK QUACK QUACK! David Dang you are a Quack!

This Ofc sucks bad. When I need an appt I have to wait 5 – 6 weeks. Then when I need refills I cannot get them because I have to see Dr first. Which means no meds for 5 – 6 weeks. I had blood work done 2 – 3 weeks ago and called to find out why my RA factor wasn’t done. Ofc girl said Dr was saving my blood. Test results do not look good. When I called for an appt they had nothing for7 weeks. This Ofc should be shut down. And I have to go to him because of medical ins. Not happy at all. Would not recommend.
