History
Established in 1956.
Our practice was founded by Dr. Sheldon S. Singer in 1956, the same year that the city of Garden Grove was founded. Dr. Singer was a prominent leader in the community, and one of the first doctors in the area to start fitting contact lenses. He had a fascination with the most current technologies available in eyecare from the beginning, a tradition we have continued in the present. Dr. Miller joined the practice in 1983, working in the practice as a partner until Dr. Singer retired in 1990. Dr. Miller has continued Dr. Singer’s tradition of community service, serving as the Past President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Garden Grove, the California Optometric Association, the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival, as well as many others. Since our practice’s founding, serving the needs of our community has always been important to our doctors, and we have been a member of the chamber of commerce in Garden Grove since 1956. We moved to our current location on historic Main Street in 2004.
