Great time at country night. Nice staff, cheap drinks, good parking, friendly folks = great time. DJ Rosa taught line dances, spun tunes, and provided a fun evening. I’ll be going back Nov 19th for next country night.

$ 5 cover got me in for new Country Night on Thursday. Tiny little place with tiny little dance floor, but had comfortable old jacket feel to it(with nice Halloween decorations) and people were friendly. David at the bar was excellent too. As a first timer I had a bit of hard time finding the place and its driveway but will definitely come back for more Country(note for myself: look for big«F H» sign on the building).

Tonight was my first time at The Frat House, It was Country Night and it was great to see many faces I’d not seen in a very long time. The DJ «DJ Rosa» played a great mix of line France’s and couples dance numbers. The dance floor is pretty good, the bartender was cordial as was the owner and other staff. Country Night in Orange County has been missing for quite a while. Nice to see an establishment bringing it back!

Tiny dive bar full of tranny hookers. Don’t waste your time… Especially with a $ 9 cover for garden grove… Who do they think they are??? Go to velvet for 5 bucks and a way nicer bar if your in oc.

We were at KBBQ in the area & on a whim we decided to check out this long time OC club. We should’ve kept driving. We walked into their lobby at 8:30pm and were met with a young man at the hostess stand that informed us of the cover charge. $ 9.00. .. in orange county. .. on a friday. .. at 8:30pm? The reason for the cover charge was that there was entertainment that night, the hostess pointed to a poster on the wall advertising drag queens, gogo boys, and a dj. «Okay» we said, «this could be interesting. What time does the entertainment start?» «10pm» he said. So we paid our fare, got our wristbands, and went into the main part of the bar. Admittedly, I haven’t been back to this bar in decades, but I noticed the layout had been changed somewhat and it felt like they had removed most of their lighting because it was DARK! The bartender was personable and she made a pretty good drink. She welcomed us and informed us we could sit anywhere except any table with a reserved sign. No problem! The drink prices were reasonable & the crowd interesting, so we grabbed a table facing most of the space so we could people watch as people trickled in and await the entertainment. Well. .. 10pm came and went. So did 11pm. 1) The only drag queens that night were part of the clientele and not onstage. 2) After 10pm it seems the bartenders change, along with their attitude and mixology skills. 3) After 9pm the music shifts to 4 latin music videos for every one by an english speaking artist. At 11pm the music is strictly all latin videos. After 11pm the ‘dj’ makes his presence known by screaming something unintelligible through the PA system between videos. 4) The gogo boys didn’t make an appearance until well after 11pm. They just appeared. No intro, not special spotlights, nothing. 5) As the gogo boys work through their bump & grind two things become very apparent, two of the dancers were hired for their talent & people skills as well as their attractiveness. They smile, they have great dance moves, they drop down as people approach them to either receive a tip or a compliment, and they give a hug & a thank you for both. The third dancer on the other hand was hired strictly for the size of his penis, you know this because his routine revolves around him stroking himself through his ‘Andrew Christian Trophy Boy’ underwear, swaying his hips so his cock flops about, & rubbing his chest and nipples. He thrusts his cock out to receive his tips in and around his cock & barely grimaces as an acknowledgement of either the tip or the grope. 5) If you’re in need of bar snacks to offset the alcohol you’ve imbibed you’re out of luck. However there is a great big vending machine for you to try your luck on. The stars in this review come strictly for the early shift bartender(sorry I can’t recall your name!), and the two talented dancers who made the effort to engage with the patrons.

As a straight white woman this place is my absolute favorite. I’ve never been here when the action is going on, only when there are a few people in here. But everything about this place makes me happy. There isn’t much else I can say. Great, reasonably priced drinks, and nice, very friendly bartenders.

ugly Mexican men that wish they were born women think this bar is owned by them. I went to take a unoccupied seat at the bar and a fat ugly cross dresser demanded for me to get out the seat and literally wanted to get physically meaning hostile and wanted trouble I’m gay and use to dress like a beautiful exotic female with class meaning that I invested in my image is so degrading to see a wannabe girl that is a man looking like trash with yellow teeth, nasty face, and cheap makeup and 99 cent accessories. I swear I was to the point of knocking him out. But of course I wasn’t too stupid to get arrested since I’m the one dressed as a man and I still invest in my image as a man. this is for the transvestites from this bar in general if you seek trouble your most likely to get trouble so watch yourself and think twice this bar is also a Targetfor prostitution meaning these ugly wannabe females transvestites for sure have Sexual Transmitted Diseases! YUCK!!!

I was not impressed by the exterior of this place. The over all atmosphere was nice. The music was mostly in Spanish which I enjoy from time to time. The drinks were awesome inexpensive and delicious. The employees were super nice and made me feel welcoming for the first time there. I do admit that they could use a renovation to clean the place up but I’m not the owner maybe he will read this and other similar review and do something about it. Overall I think I will go back but not make it my regular hang out.

It is not Hollywood club but it is just regular club in garden grove I have had a good time when I was there. 4 stars is fair I’m not surprised that I’m the first one to review this place. How does anyone even know this existed?! This place is tranny fierce. Mexican music with a gay bump and drag show… Does life get better? I think not. Seriously, go here. I love that the gay bars in Orange County are totally secluded, just like the gays in Orange County.

This place is way run down. it’s like they decided to throw a party in a closed down bar in tia juana. They have no air conditioner so its WAY to hot inside, it was full of trannies when we went so that was kinds odd, but the strippers were very friendly, when they saw we had money to tip they were letting up grab their«goods» that was the highlight of the night. its a very tacky place, but for a one night thing it was not tooooo bad. i wouldn’t go back. The lighting sound and video was all horrid. Bartenders were friendly.

The OC doesn’t boast many gay bars /night clubs so I’m not sure why this place isn’t more popular. Yeah it’s a total dive and the parking can be kinda a pain if it’s busy. I constantly hear people stating they«love dive bars» and they can never find one anywhere around here and blah blah blah. Then when one comes along(such as this place) they refer to it as «shady» and try to act like this place doesn’t meet the expectations cuz they feel like they r in an unsafe place. So WTF! I don’t get it people… This place has a pool table, full bar, vending machine and cigarette machine. They also accept credit cards which is a good to know, 10 dollar minimum and u can run a tab. Yeah drag queens and trannies hang here and there are adult shops nearby — hey peeps u want an interesting evening? Then shut up and check this place out! Thanks for reading. CJ

«Oh my» On one hand this must be where gay nightlife comes to die a horrid, burnt-out death — I came early-ish on a Saturday and was actually surprised to see so many toothless, pock-mocked, late 40-something gay white men in cut-up 80’s rock band t-shirts — not in a trendy, «bringing the 80’s back» kind of way, but in a «in-and-out of rehab for meth, haven’t bought new clothes since the 80’s» kind of way. On the other hand, it becomes a rather happening spot for the Mexican tranny crowd, where 5 o’clock shadow and toes hanging over platforms come standard and corridos are remixed to circuit-club beats. Oh, and folks aren’t shy about shaking their shit and will do it all up in the aisles, at the bar, with their ass in your face if you attempt to be seated — you get the picture. In neither instance are the drinks cheap or the crowd very friendly. Parking appears to be a bit of a cluster-fuck once it gets busy — you could very well get blocked in and the in and the out share the same tiny driveway. There’s a kind of a pseudo smoking patio that you can’t take your drink out to, but instead must leave about 100 ft away, out of sight — hello roofies! A «must experience» but not necessarily a return engagement!
