History

Established in 2007.

Healing Hands Acupuncture was started by Dr. Sahngjoon Lee. Dr. Lee obtained his Master of Science in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (M.S.A.O.M.) degree from South Baylo University in California and Doctor of Acupuncture & Asian Medicine. He is a Licensed Acupuncturist in California and a board certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Clean Needle Technique. He completed Anatomy and Neurobiology certification course requirements at the University of California in Irvine.

With over a decade of experience in the natural medicine field, Dr. Lee knows the power of acupuncture and natural herbs to heal the body and maintain lifelong balance. He is always excited for new patients, and is ready to help them on their journey to better health.

Dr. Lee is very professional and great! He is very cautious and makes one feel at home. He is friendly and very reliable. He cares about his patients and it shows. Dr. Lee has been my acupuncturist for about 2 years. Not only has he been an amazing doctor, but also has become an amazing friend — t’was about time he got my review on Unilocal!
He’s one of the best acupuncturists I’ve ever had, and I’ve been doing acupuncture since I was a little girl. Never have I had such visible and immediate results.
Dr. Lee has been treating me for different aches and ailments — some new, some old — and always responds with care, patience, and urgency (which I like because to me, everything’s urgent! LOL — can anyone else relate?)
Hi clinic is super hidden in an older building in Garden Grove, but inside it feels very peaceful. He has 4 treatment rooms, and in one he has a «Lyposculpt» machine — shhhh, best kept secret! But this cool machine also treats wrinkles and age spots, it’s kind of amazing ladies (and gents). He also has a crazy variety of Chinese herbs, weight-​loss programs, and cool herbal lotions for tightness, tension, and miscellaneous issues: He treats it all!
I love how humble and kind Dr. Lee is, he’s always been consistently there for me. I will never forget one day he just asked me about my parents, and let me talk on and on about my past and my life. I told him «hey, I feel better now that I got to talk to someone about all that» to which he responded «women just need someone to listen.» I was like — WHAT?! WHO ARE YOU?! KIND OF AMAZING DOCTOR! He was right! Believe you me I have that story in my arsenal for whenever my husband needs a reminder (in the future, when we’re old and we stop listening to each other of course).
There’s TONS of parking, and nearby cross-​streets are Brookhurst and Garden Grove Blvd. I’d travel miles and miles to get treated by Dr. Lee, I can’t thank him enough for all his help. See you next week Doc!
