Wow! Never met anyone so abrasive and rude as Brad! Terrible customer service! Literally acts like you’re bothering him from the first time you speak on the phone on through the entire experience in the store. The only thing he got right was when he guessed my weight, which was actually quite impressive. He claimed it was because he came from a Circus family of Travelers — the infamous Con Artists that were portrayed in the TV series, The Riches. That admission was the only thing that made the rest of the horrible experience make sense. First, prices! There are none listed on the website. On the phone, it was just double talk. The very first question I asked was the price of their 11″ Ultimate Bed in a Twin XL. He told me $ 1,097. Then, after a couple other questions, I asked about their 9″ and I was told $ 1,397, which didn’t make sense to me. When I asked for clarification, he told me that I was all confused. I thought, okay, whatever. Spoiler alert: When I actually asked about the same 11″ TwinXL at the showroom, it turned out to be $ 2K. With how rushed and annoyed he was on the phone, I thought he must be very busy. Definitely not the case. Later, when my girlfriend and I arrived at their Garden Grove Showroom, there was no one there but him, just sitting at his desk. We walked in and his attitude was exactly the same — RUDE. Brad just pointed us off in the direction of the beds without any assistance whatsoever as to which one’s were what. No labeling or pricing on anything to guide the customer. I literally had to politely push him for help, which he was clearly not happy about either. The showroom is also set up in the most confusing way possible. Soft beds are placed next to very different hard beds. Slightly different beds are placed as far away from each other as possible. When testing two different beds, I asked for confirmation that the one I was on was actually softer than another one I had tried earlier, since they were very close in comfort, but not in price. He literally called me «neurotic» for asking. It was such a stupid accusation, I couldn’t even get mad about the insult. My girlfriend was absolutely appalled, not having been introduced to his abrasiveness earlier on the phone, as I had. All in all, he wins the award for the worst salesman I’ve ever met. Truly committed to NOT making a sale. You’d think after all their years in business, he’d at least know that. Best I can guess, he’s just an angry ex-Traveler Con Artist who resents going legit. At least I learned one thing: supposedly the show, The Riches, was pretty accurate in its representation of Travelers. So, buyer beware! If nothing else, the way his showroom is organized may be a leftover from his old Traveler ways!
