The food was really good! But the service is terrible as always. The waiters don’t seem to care at all

This place is filthy dirty and they didn’t even get my order right. Then they forgot about it. I would not recommend this place to my friends. My friend and I was in the area and wanted some noodles so we dropped by for Mit Vit Tiem. We called ahead because we were looking for parking. About 10 minutes later, we parked and came in and the guy didn’t even place our order. Then they rushed to give us something and of course, they forgot the noodles.

Average food, quick service but BAD manner. The server is disrespectful while taking order and rude to clean up table while I’m still eating

Not much ppl here, so fast seating. The bowl of noodle was good, not the best, but I guess will do. Not flavorful as expected

Good noodles, but tight sitting and parking space, hence 4 stars. I would go there again.

If you don’t care about cleanliness much or customer service, but craving for good noodles, this is the place you should try. The paste and soup is a little salty but the flavor is great. I haven’t found a place that has as good dry noodle style as here. But besides that, their customer service is awful, I dont know why they hired some boys that don’t even care about customers and never smile. They just tossed the noodle bowl to my face and walked away. They also charge for water.

The food was good! I liked the soup of the mi and hu Tieu. Mi kho could be a little less seasoned since it was a little salty but it’s still great. Food is good, restaurant could benefit from a little more cleaning though.

Fast service, quick to be seated right away. Food is mediocre nothing special. It was funny because I didn’t even look at the reviews here before sitting down. Ordered: shrimp yellow noodles(soup based). It had the shrimp with(shell on the tail still attached) I’m not sure what the other stuff was in there but looked like it was some pork fat??? Not sure but it kinda grossed me out thinking they added a piece of «lard» inside the soup as flavor since it definitely was Not meat. I chewed it and it tasted like fat. Flavor was a bit too bland but did have sodium flavor to it. Not very good though. I’ve had better noodles elsewhere.

I came here with my family for lunch and I think I accidentally checked in the wrong restaurant since there’s literally two of the same restaurants with the same name right next to each other(same owner I believe) haha. Whoops. Anyways, my mom/sister/I all ordered the small special mi/egg noodles(cold/soup on the side). My dad ordered the wonton soup with mi/egg noodles. Our meals came out and it tasted alright. The thing I like is that to not too oily compared to other mi places in the OC but they did put quite of bit of fried fat pieces in our meals and I didn’t really like that. I do like the texture of the egg noodles and I think that’s important if you are picky and want good egg noodles. Pretty good place if you want a quick bite to eat. It’s near a busy intersection so be careful of dumb drivers. Service was good to us so that was not a problem.

Do not go to this restaurant. The worse service from the skinny guy worker in there. We ordered ice tea. He brought out water. When we told him about it, he walked back inside and brought out a tea pot and poured a small amount of tea into our glasses. What the fuck! Didn’t want to make a big deal so I asked him to just leave the tea pot so we can pour more ourselves. He said no and walked away!!! The food was not as good as the #1 restaurant, therefore is not worth coming back to receive that level of unprofessional service.

I would put zero if I could! I came in when there was only 1 table being served. Nobody took me in although I called(almost yelled!) three times. They just stood there behind the counter chit chatting. They looked at me and just freaking ignored me!!! I walked out and I swear I’m not coming back!

The restaurant is small, hot, loud, and crowded. We preferred to order to go. Their special dish is good. Is a perfect taste with noodles, liver, meat, and a side bowl of soup. We have come back many times. We have been ordering here so many times that we need to eat somewhere else to appreciate the noodle again.

The noodle, dry or soup, is pretty good here. I come here often, both dine in and take out, though I prefer takeout because this place isn’t like, extremely clean to sit and eat comfortably. Most times I prefer the dry because I dig the sauce, and they have«toc mo» too! Translation: deep fried pork fat. Or pork rinds. Prices are reasonable. Though, my recent visit was kind of disappointing. When I went to pick up my dry noodle order(which usually comes with broth on the side), the guy at the counter packed it up, and THEN he picked the foam container off the counter that had the broth inside that’s been sitting there for god knows how long. So, as you can guess, the broth was not hot. Seriously, you couldn’t have poured it from the boiling pot in the kitchen? Why would you pre-pack the broth in a bunch of containers and leave them on the counter like that? It’s not like it’s veggies or utensils. What I also DON’T dig is that one lady’s attitude whenever I pay with my debit card. They have a $ 10 minimum card charges(as most Viet restaurants, annoying) «policy» but sometimes they do take payments under $ 10, but when they do, that lady mumbles in Vietnamese, something like«God, only $ 8 and you’re using your card.» Makes you feel like you’re begging for food. I mean, first of all, you shouldn’t even impose that on customers, and secondly, payment is payment. Would you rather customer walk away because they didn’t have cash on them, and lose out on business? *smh*

All the waiter standing around the counter, playing with the phone while I am one hand carry my baby, the other hand trying to pull the high chair! What the service is this. Specially the fat guy, he’s trying to argue with us when we ask for help. Bad attitude and bad services ! WOULDNEVERCOMEBACK.

Whoaaa talk about customer service, the food came out real quick. I was so surprised. I simply enjoyed my vegetarian fried rice. It had tofu, mock meat of course, pineapples and vegetables. It was wonderful. I

I don’t appreciate that they charge for water, along with horrible customer service. However, the food is great. I’ve tried other places hu tieu but this place is the best. They just really need to do something about their service.

Whenever I visit the OC, I make a point to come to My Vi Mi Gia, since they have the best dry noodle house special ever! You know a Chinese place is good whenever there is a huge line of Chinese people waiting on a Sunday morning. Which is actually the only downside to this restaurant: it’s small size and small parking lot make coming here kind of a chaotic experience. But once you get seated you are sure to get some authentic delicious food. I can’t say I’m diverse in my ordering here, since I always order the same thing, the Seafood House Special, with the option for dry or wet, I always get it dry because you get the awesome house sauce.

WHAT’S WITHTHETERRIBLEREVIEWS? I understand that the service is lackluster and you kinda have to fend for yourself in this place, but that’s how it typically is in Little Saigon! Maybe my tolerance for bad service is higher in Vietnamese places, and maybe that’s not a good thing to have, but hey, my mentality is, if the food is good, I don’t care much about the service. And that’s what this place has. THEBESTTHING to get here is #10 noodle — mì đac biet(house special noodle), and it’s best to get it khô(dry). Don’t fret; it won’t be served crunchy like uncooked ramen. The noodles are sautéed and comes with scallops, shrimp, liver, pork, pork rinds, and fried onion. They dress up the noodles with a sweet dark sauce that I’m guessing is hoisin, but not 100% certain. It also comes with a side of broth for your sipping pleasure. So yes. Come here for a quick bowl of noodles and go! As long as you don’t expect a fine dining experience, you’ll be happy with your meal. Happy eating!

This place does not get enough awesome reviews for the special dry noodles!!! This is a typical vietnamese family restaurant… You walk in, grab a seat, and place an order. Read the other reviews and it seems as though they expect a red carpet pulled out for them? Chilllllll tfo. :P Anyways, if you’re craving for dry noodles, come here for their special. If you come early in the morning, make sure to grab a piece of their limited supply of chinese donuts. It’s freshhhh baby! Something about the sauce in their dry noodles sets them apart from all the other vietnamese restaurants. I’ve been here before for their Mi Vit and that was pretty gpod too, but i would definitely recommend their dry noodles over everything else. The little bowl of soup is delicious too. Take it from someone who actually loves food! Im a Nguyener!
