Its Five Star Fri again!!!(4th one this year) Move over Café Artist! There’s a new quan nhau in town!!! I have seen several Unilocalers drop pics of this place, so when Van D and I needed a place for an afta party, it wasn’t a hard decision. Quan Tri Ky is a quan nhau(Viet drinking place), and is located on GG Blvd near Cypress(East of Brookhurst) in Garden Grove. We didn’t have anything to eat except the wings(sorry, no pic), but its buy two bottles of chamisul, get one free w/Yelp checkin!!! Dem bottles started multiplying like rabbits! We ended up buying at least 4 more bottles($ 10/each) after Maila and Q joined us. Despite not really trying the food, QTK is 5 Stars because it has the hawtest waitresses of any quan nhau I have been to!!! In addition, they are super nice & attentive, and will drink with you. At Café Artist, one or two waitresses are good looking, but they don’t dress like the ones at QTK!!! We’ve found our new fave quan nhau in the area!!! I had the most fun I have had in a while here. How much fun did we have, you ask? Well, QTK closes @ 11, and I didn’t leave til 2 am(ahem ahem). Additionally, Van’s car was still there when I left. Lastly, I’m not sure how Maila and Q got home… Rotflmao!!!

In Vietnamese, someone you consider to be your«Tri Ky» is a really good friend. It actually doesn’t have a perfect translation cause it is such a deep friendship, they even have poetry and essays on the topic. A «Tri Ky» is there for you when you are happy or sad. You never have to explain yourself to them… cause they just get you! There’s a segment from an old Vietnamese poem by Au Duong Tu which says, «Tuu phung tri ky thien boi thieu» — meaning when you drink with someone who truly understands you, 1000 shots is still lacking.” That’s why I wanted to come here with Joe P, my fav drinking wingBro! Ladies, hit him up! And we had a celebrity appearance by Maila H, my fav and only Aries Sissy! She just gets me! ;) So anyways, all we ordered was SOJU– The Chamisol($ 10/bottle). Honestly I have no clue now many we ended up with. Like 3 to start before Maila came and another and another and ughhh maybe 7 or 8 or 9??? Anyways there is a Unilocal check in special where you buy 2 get 1 free. I was really excited to think I can buy 6 and get 3 free, but it turns out that we are limited to one offer per table. Ohh well… I need to actually eat the next time I come back here. They have an awesome menu full of delicious looking drunk munchies. I love drunk munchies! This place has awesome vibes! Chill music and beautiful friendly ladies coming around to drink with you. They were really sweet! This is definitely one of my new go-to drinking spots. Next time I’m just Über/Lyft here so I don’t have to text anyone to pick my drunk butt up. Too much YOLO!

I’ve hung out here a few times to grab drinks or meet up with friends. It’s a small cozy bar/lounge with Vietnamese beer food and music. On the nights I’ve come, they’ve always had a DJ playing really good music. From hiphop to house, he switches it up depending on the night. This is a great place to watch the game, relax, and chill with friends over delicious food and drinks. The waitresses are HOT and so friendly! The owner is also super sweet and hospitable. They always make sure I have a great time every time I’m here. Love these guys! They have a large variety of food from hotpot, steak, french fries… to fried rice, salad, escargots, sea snails, etc. All your traditional«nhau» beer food and more!

The food here is delicious and their sauces are amazing. It tastes like homemade:) it gets pretty packed on the weekend but the service is still very good. The waitress are pretty and their always helpful too even though its packed. They have football days and specials. They even open sundays from 10am to close which is very convient if youre looking for a place to eat in the early afternoon while football game is on. Id come back here, def recommend this place: D

My first and last time here. I came here with a group of friends for their beer pong tournament about three weeks ago, and by far this is the worst ‘quan nhau’ I’ve ever been to. I came in & the workers didn’t really greet me, but gave me a stare — so I walked myself to my boyfriend’s table. I order quite a few items(Lau Thai, Hot Vit Lon, Coconut Snails, and a few more) & honestly, it wasn’t quite good. Skipping all that little details & jumping to why I am rating this a one star… Towards the end of the night, I went up to the cash register & paid my tabs. After that I went back to the table and dropped off about $ 100 for tips & walked outside to say bye to my friends before we go home. I was standing outside talking, and some waitress runs outside & says«You’re missing $ 20 for your bill» … and I went back in to check with the boss, and he said everything was okay. How can I be missing that money when I paid with a credit card? Does that even make sense. First of all don’t chase after the customers and said they’re missing money when you haven’t checked with your boss yet. Second of all, when I stood in front of the door… the waitress was like«Take your f* tips back & don’t come back.» Are you serious? Who says that to a customer. I wasn’t even yelling or anything at her, but for her to say that to me? Really. That’s definitely the worst customer service ever. I hope the boss know that we got two bottles & spent over $ 500 that night.

Awesome lounge bar! They have a great selection of cheap beers, a lot of variety when it comes to the food menu, and great looking ladies that can speak english providing great service. I am a friend of this place and I judge fairly. I’ve been to a lot of quan nhua and this is one of the better ones. They play good music and it’s not so loud you have to scream to converse with one another. It’s a chill and fun ambience. The ladies are on top of it when it comes to cleanliness. Very attentive and friendly. So far, I brought all my fellow guy friends to this place and they love it! We’ll be back!

I like the fact that they play a variety of music! It’s not just your typical edm or viet music all night long like most places. It’s a mix crowd. The servers are always walking around checking on tables so you don’t have to worry about flagging them down. Gets quite busy, they take reservations for big groups though. Yummy food & great vibes all around!

This place has horrible service. Yeah they have young girls serving, but they don’t even speak vietnamese! When asked about certain dishes they were confused. Owner doesn’t really care even when you complained. Asked the girls to grab us new beers from our buckets and a few time I catch them going into the back and charged us for extra when they said they didnt.

One of the worst nhau place i ever went to! Its all looks and nothing else. Workers don’t know how to speak viet. Dont know how to serve. Dont understand what a «bucket» means. Loves to give your table away even tho you requested it and reserved it. And the food sucks! If you want to come just to see pretty girls with bad service this is your spot! First and last!

This place by far has the WORST business model. I ordered takeout on 04÷11÷15. I went in to pickup my order and took it home. This restaurant/lounge is located in Orange County and I live in the LA area. I went all the way to OC to try this place because my Vietnamese friends recommended this place. I went home and found out 1 of my 4 orders was missing. I called this place back and a girl named Debbie answered my call.(I believe Debbie is the owner). I explained to Debbie the situation and she responded with«sorry honey, I don’t know how to refund the money back on your credit card. How about I just mail you a check?». First of all, that is weird to me a business owner does not know how to complete a refund transaction. But I said«sure that’s fine». I gave her my name and address for her to mail me my check. A week and a half went by. No check. I called her again to follow up with my refund. She remembered who I was at the very least. She told me she wrote the check and it’s in her possession. Her coworker just forgot to send it out. She said she will mail it. Another week went by. NOCHECK! I called her back and I was very frustrated. I told her if she doesn’t mail the check, I can just dispute the charge on my credit card. She told me, «honey, I sent it out two days ago. You should be receiving it in a couple days.» I said my final«okay I will wait.»(Side note: I verified my address with her to be sure she has the right address and it was). Sure enough, another week went by and there is no check. Really Debbie? Is it that difficult to refund a $ 13.99 order? This place is ridiculous. Lastly, I highly suggest liquor commission or an auditor to come into this restaurant and do a raid. If this place is as legit as they practice to be then that’s cool. But I highly doubt it.

This is a great sports bar! I’m here at least once a week and I don’t even live in the area!!! They serve cold beer, sake, and soju. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu. However some of my favorites are the filet mignon(bo luc lac) cubes with noodles, grilled squid, and seafood hot pot. Service is on point, and it doesn’t hurt that they’re hot too. Live DJ!

One of my favorite spot to hang out with my friends to grab some good food, great conversations and a couple of beers. Music is on point… loud enough to enjoy it and not too loud where you have to actually scream at the person across from you. Service –Very attentive and friendly Food –Amazing!!! Beers –Good selection… if only they had some Stone IPA and it’ll be my only spot to go to. Cleanliness –Looks good to me.
