Sun Spa Tanning

I know the name of this business says tanning, but it is so much more than just a tanning salon. It has a cute little boutique in the front selling handbags, jewelry, accessories, etc.
Now I am about as fair skinned as they come, so the tanning thing isn’t for me, but my review is based on their amazing full service hair salon at the back of the facility. My hair stylist recently moved over to this place and I am very pleased that she did.

I really like this place, clean, friendly and professional. The only thing I am bummed about is that it’s a bit far from where I live. It’s worth it! I want to thank DJ for making an effort on remembering my name. As soon as I walk in, he logs me in without asking. Now that’s customer service!!! Everyone is welcoming and some with a smile on there face! I will for sure be back!

I haven’t been to a tanning salon in years but needed to prepare my skin for a camping trip where I normally get burned. So being new to the area and not familiar with a local tanning salon I was referred by my friend, Jennifer, who raved about this place. I wasn’t disappointed at all. There are quite a few things that I like about this place. First and foremost, it is spotless. Very clean! You feel like you are walking into a high end salon that should cost much more than they actually charge. There is always someone nice at the front desk to welcome you with a smile. And they reward you for referring people which I think is awesome. They also have an assortment of really cute retail items in the front of the store from jewelry to sun hats. I also like that you can just walk in anytime and not have to make an appointment or wait to get on a bed. You walk in and in less than a few minutes you are in a room. In addition, there are so many rooms with so many options for your tanning needs. I bought a 30 day package for a little over $ 30– a few weeks ago. I am very pleased with my experience so far!

I had such an amazing experience here. I called yesterday and talk to Patty and she was very informative and friendly. When I went in today I was able to meet her and she gave me a tour. Her establishment is very clean, organized, if she has a large variety of different type of beds. She went over all of the packages with me and made her recommendation based on my skin tone and my past experiences. My tanning experience was so relaxing and I can’t wait til my next session! Hello fellow Unilocalers!!! Let me just start of by saying that NICOLE VO is the girl you want to go too. What I loved about NICOLE VO! Was her professionalism ! She knew exactly what she had to. She did not beat around the bush and was precise and refreshingly honest !!! She did an amazing cut and color! We also ended up doing a scalp treatment that left my hair so shiny and smooth. NICOLE VO was very personable, she made my experience so comfortable and at ease. She now has me booked all year! Lol not kidding ! She knows exactly when I have to come in so I can keep my hair the way it’s been looking ! Did i also mention she actually cares about the integrity of your hair! Lol hard to find. But I have found her ! And I’m here to stay. I’m very happy with my tan considering I was on a time crunch before vacation! I have a golden tan and so happy! I got 30 days for $ 35 and I really appreciate how nice and helpful everyone is! I will definitely be back to keep up my vacation tan!

Shelly was amazing! I got an air spray tan! It looks so natural. I wanted to look good, and she accomplished just that for me! I’m so excited with this new tan! She made me feel so comfortable. She talked me through everything. Shelly gave me pointers so that way I can keep this tan longer! I feel absolutely confident with my color. It’s not orange at all. I can’t believe how natural it looks! Thanks again Shelly! You did such an amazing job! I will definitely be coming back a lot more! Love it! :)

This place is pretty cool. When I went in I didn’t even know there was a salon in the back! I got a groupon deal and my stylist her name was Nicole Vo! I recommend her. She is the best stylist I’ve had. I am a very picky person when it comes to hair. But she did an amazing job! So if you want an awesome hair stylist that knows what you want I recommend her :)

This place is the best! Great variety of services and beds. Staff is friendly and helpful. Owners onsite daily. Have been going here for years and would not even consider another place! Must try!

I’ve been coming here since i was 18, even though i tan in 2.5 seconds i still love to have a deep chocolate tone lol.

This place is great! Cheap monthly packages for both traditional indoor tanning & Mystic Tan. There plenty of beds, and the place is super clean. Don’t be afraid to shop the boutique you’ll find up front! All of the items I have purchased turned out to be very good quality. The staff is very friendly & helpful, and you will not find a salon with better hours– this place is open until 10pm weeknights!

i went on for my first full waxing on a friday morning… it was my first time so i didnt know what to expect but Nicole, the girl that took care of me was great she showed me to a room and let me get prepared (sock over my junk) and once she started the process seemed to flow pretty well. she was very professional the whole time. it did hurt but not NEARLY as much as i thought it would. the whole process took roughly an hour and a half but i was completely smooth. it was for my girlfriend (i spent a weekend with her directly after having this done and it really just brought a new dimension to our sexual relationship it was like discovering something new. anyway, my overall experience was GREAT not nearly as uncomfortable as i had anticipated. i highly recommend to all men who shave down there to just bite the bullet and get waxed. its completely worth the $ i paid as i will no longer have to spend extra $ on razors. its been almost a week and im still very very smooth and its awesome.

On my quest to attain bronzed goddess status, I have frequented many a tanning salon. Some have been sketchy, dirty, creepy, and dark. Others have been mediocre, but I was sure the old man at the desk had some sort of peep hole or camera in the tanning areas. (You know who you are, CREEPER!) But, on my last leg, desperate for a tanning experience that wouldn’t leave me terrified of crabs or scarred from leaked nude tanning videos, I found Sun Spa Tanning. Thank the Lord.
Well lit, clean, and decently friendly, Sun Spa is my tanning haven. The guy who signed me up was great. Super informative and sold me a bronzer that actaully did what he said it would. He also started me out at a low time, but I’m grateful. I’ve gotten some nasty burns from over eager sales people, who apparently know more about my skin than I do. He also gave me an extra towel to cover my new tattoo without any sort of attitude or questions. :) Little things like that keep me coming back.
I love how clean and well lit Sun Spa is. There is NOTHING worse than walking into a dimly lit tanning salon with either a creepy old man at the desk or an uniterested girl on her cell phone.
So, Sun Spa, you are my tanning savior, and I thank you for the lovely base tan I have been developing. :)

I was drawn in by their special on unlimited tanning for 30 days for a whopping price of $ 60. The minute I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and smiles as if I wasn’t just a regular customer. The salon is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. It’s a very comfortable environment :) Thank you for the wonderful service and special touches you add to the establishment that sets you above the rest.

I really like this place. It’s very clean and I love having to never wait in line. One of the main reasons I tan here is because the hours are great. It’s not easy for me to tan whenever I like (having two little boys) so I tend to go later at night. Downfall is one particular person. I’m not sure of his name but I think he is the only white boy working there and tends to usually work at night. I have never encounter anyone the is more constantly rude than him. Every single time I go there and he’s working, I literally don’t want to go in because of his rudeness. I’m not kidding either! I went in recently about 45mins till closing, he walked in from the back, didn’t say hi so I told him my last name since he didn’t ask for it. All that came out of his mouth was my room number. I don’t know if the attitude tends to be worse at night because he doesnt want to deal with last minute people but that’s not my fault. I think a sister that works there as well and she is nice as can be. I have a friend of mine that goes there too, feels he same way I do. I don’t want to go to another tanning salon but his customer service skills are horrible that it almost makes me want to go somewhere else.

Hair stylist Jessica has done a great job of coloring & styling my hair for years. Hair salon is tucked away in the back, is spacious, clean, not crowded. Prices are reasonable. Ask for Jessica.

Hands down the best tanning experience I’ve had to date. Their staff is more than helpful when choosing the right type of bed, tanning style, type of lotion, etc. I have referred a few of my local friends who also love going there to tan. I really appreciate the timing suggestions I get from the staff there and their beds are clean EVERY time I go in there!
If you are looking for great service, greatly maintained beds and a clean tanning environment, then Sun Spa Tanning is the place to go!

Sun Spa tanning is fantastic. I work from 8am — 8 pm sometimes but I am still able come on in to Sun Spa because of their flexible hours and availability for «walk ins» who, like me, forgot to make appointments. I have been to several tanning places and often times have to make appointments 2 – 3 weeks ahead of time but Sun Spa is super flexible and accommodating. They are extremely friendly and helpful and they have great package deals for tanning. I have recommended this Spa to several of my friends.

My number one complaint about tanning salons in the OC (besides the steep prices) is that the receptionists are always blond and snooty. I’m not trying to stereo type or generalize but I’ve had enough of these over processed blonds. When I came into Mystic Tan after work (I work in the optometry office right next door) I was greeted by a friendly woman– I learned later she was owner. She was nice enough to give me a brief tour of the salon and the cleanliness of the salon was a pleasant surprise. I was happy to know that she had affordable packages– 6 points for $ 30. Instead of trying to upsell me, she even threw in one free tan for me! This is definitely the place I will be whenever I need to become a bronze goddess!
