My daughters and i have been going to top star hair for years, it surely is a diamond in the rough. We love this place Lisa is our stylist and does a fabulous job, her work is excellent
and the quality is amazing for the price.
Today my two daughters had highlights done and they where so happy with the outcome. Also all the staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed. I will defiantly recommend top star to all our friends and family.

Me and my sisters have been going to this place for years and years but just now got the chance to give them a review. l LINDA is the one who’s been doing our haircut and hairstyle and she has always made us happy :) if you want to look fabulous, go see her.

Ladies. Proper way to remove acrylics is by soaking them in acetone! If you ripped off your nails it can cause a lot of damage to your nails. And I’m not picky, I’m a cosmetologist, so I know what I’m talking about. I could do my own acrylics but I just came here because I’m far away from home. But this is not acceptable!

I live this place, lisa cuts great hair, and all the girls do a wonderful job on nails. Wish I lived closer I only get here about once a month but they are so friendly and do such awesome work!

I stumbled upon this salón by chance while attending a convention and absolutely love this full service salon! So much so that I drive from San Diego every month to get my hair, mani, pedi, and wax done! Ladies are very knowledgeable and nice!!!

This was my first time here and I was a bit worried due to the reviews on here. I must say I’m a happy camper. The lady did a GREAT JOB! Not sure of her name. I only paid $ 20 for gel manicure. Sweet deal!

How is this place even in business?!? My boyfriends mom made an appointment for us to go get mani pedi. Got there right on time, lady snapped at us while we were standing saying «she knew we were there, just sit down!» so we did. After waiting for about 10 mins she got started on my feet. She filed them for a second & decided that was enough. Since we only had an hour & noone was helping my boyfriend I asked her if they were going to have someone help him anytime soon. She kept looking at my feet. & as soon as i was about to repeat myself (cause of course I did not want to believe she was ignoring me) she turned around & in her language asked something to someone sitting by her & pointed at my boyfriend. So she did hear me, she just decided my question wasnt important enough for her to even aknowledge it. After this I asked for the manager she LAUGHED at me. I asked her to stop. & put my shoes on she started speaking in her language. Whatever she said of course she did not want me to know because she spoke English. Next door there is a fantastic nail salon where they took the time to fix her mess. Would never ever come back here.

Decent, hair cut was okay but I had better

Worst experience ever. My favorite salon closed earlier on sunday n i needed to have my nails done so bad. $ 20/​mani or pedi. Not a bad price but its not worth it. Nail color collection is ugly n bad quality. My nails were chipped only after 2 – 3 days n i didnt do much things involved my hands. Top coat and base coat were all liquidity n had no effects. My friend had her gel nail color first and they charged her $ 5 for removing it, which was supposed to be free anywhere else. All ladies try to finish quickly and did bad job so they could just go home. The chair massager didnt work, they were broken for both my friend n me. My aunt owned a nail salon so trust me, dun go to this place. They just wanna get ur money without doing any shit

I had been going to Kathy at Top Star for about 10 years — even prior to her owning the shop! After I moved to Riverside, I drove to GG twice a month for a fill & hair. Sadly I tried a new salon in Riverside a few weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend and now I know why drove 120 miles a month for nails! The new place butchered my fingers, AND gave me a nasty fungus!
Back to Top Star for me!

Went to Lisa to color my roots, she did not match my color and did color the back of my head and 1 week later the roots are green, for $ 20 dollars you get what you pay. Will not return.

Horrible experience here! A first time for my mom and I today and the whole time we’re getting our pedicures the woman doing my moms toes was so into everyone elses business she wasn’t even paying attention to what she was supposed to be doing. The lady doing my toes kept trying to offer their other services to my mom when she specifically told her she wanted her toes ONLY! They said their tools were sterilized but the package was open already when she pulled it out of the box! My toes were done so sloppy and when she smeared one of them she just tried to cover it with another layer instead of removing the paint. If i wanted them to look that bad I would have had my 4 year old do it. My moms toes were filed round when she kept asking for them «square» because the lady couldn’t understand. After all the drama I made her remove everything, she was so worried about offering her other services she couldn’t focus on her job! I ended up at another salon down the street who totally saved my day. She even pointed out what a bad job they did on cleaning my cuticles. Nice feet don’t deserve such horrible treatment :(

My favorite nail shop because I always get VIP treatment here. Kathy is such a sweet and nice lady. She always gives me the best service with great discount!!!

I have coming to this hair and nails salon for many, many years with both my mom and my aunt. My mom and I usually scout the area around for our favorite hairdresser Lee, who is only there on Fridays and Saturdays. My aunt Grace prefers Lisa who specializes in fashionable hairdos. The owner is so friendly and she does a wonderful job with acrylic nails.
A bit of a language barrier here but nothing that will interfere with receiving exceptional service for very little money.
