Specialties

The Local specializes in PIZZA! We start with freshly made dough and hand toss each crust, then add our very own red sauce or delicious creamy garlic sauce and pile on mozzarella and the best and freshest toppings on the Georgetown Divide. Our goal is to elevate take and bake to artisan pizza status!

History

Established in 2015.

Opened in February of 2015, The Local is owned and operated by Michael and Jamie Mutch. Created around the philosophy of quality and the lost art of true customer service, The recipes were developed by Michael and his Brother while operating a string of pizzerias in Utah called The Rising Crust.

Love this place! With limited selections that we have to choose at the fire station, we sure are grateful that you guys are here. Not only is the food quality high and consistent, but the service is always friendly happy to help.
I love the online menu here at Unilocal,and think its great that the pizza we get actually looks like the pizza we order. Also, kudos on the creative thinking and having deserts from Chunks of Heaven. Just picked up a couple pizzas from Michael, who did an amazing job! :)

Finally a take & bake on the divide. They use good ingredients on the pizzas and the quantity of ingredients is good. I’ve been there 3 or 4 times and each time I’ve really liked my pizza.
The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. I usually order my pizza ahead of time but the one time I didn’t the wait was not very long. Price is a little higher than what you might pay at Papa Murphys in town — but I feel like you do you get more toppings on the pizza and the ingredients are better.

We have ordered pizza online several times and they always get the order perfect! We’ve asked for them to leave things off the pizza, or put specific toppings only on one half, & it’s always correct. They send you a text when it’s ready, which is very helpful. When you pick up the pizza, they are efficient & very friendly! On top of all this, the pizza is delicious! Toppings are generous, sauce is super, & crust is great!

Great Pizza! Owner is nice and the staff working are always great! Our pizza is always amazing has a more real pizza flavor vs take n bake even! We got the cookie dough once which is actually from the place next door, it was terrible don’t waste your money on it. Pizza though is a must!

Michael makes a mean pizza. He will toss and stretch the skin right in front of you before topping it with his delicious sauce and super fresh toppings if your choice. I had pepperoni, mushroom and olive. It baked up great! Stop in and give them a chance!
