I have to send out a huge thank you to Peter & Allen at A-​ONE Auto. They took the time and love to bring life to an old 1970 240z. It’s typically not something they’re used to servicing, but they assured me they would do the research and contact the correct places to piece together what was needed to get my Z running. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. They kept me in the loop at every juncture, penny pinched every cent and made sure things did not grow out of hand during the rebuilding process.

I agree with the awesome reviews and highly recommend A-​one auto for their repair services. I came in last week for a quote on replacing the passenger mirror on my Civic. Having had the repair done before for about $ 200 ($ 140 for parts and $ 60 labor) at a Hermosa Beach location, I was expecting to pay this much at this location. Peter took one look at gave me the advice to procure my own part (ebay) and that the labor to replace it would be minimal. I did exactly what he advised, procuring the part for about $ 25. I went in this morning to get the mirror replaced and I was in and out in about ½ hour. The mirror works like a charm! Based on this experience, this is where I will be coming for all future car needs.

I bought a lip for my RSX and needed someone to paint it inexpensively. I called Peter and he quoted me $ 140 for the paint and it was finished the next day! I highly recommend this shop!

Best service ever. Peter, the owner, and Alan, the technician provided prompt service with great attention to detail. Alan kept me informed every step of the way, and called to check up on how my vehicle — a retired ambulance repurposed as a race car support vehicle — was performing.

I was looking for a place to repair my car after some damage occurred to the front bumper and a side panel on my car. I found A-​One on Unilocal and decided to use A-​One as one of my repair estimates. The owner Peter was friendly when I came in and gave quick estimate and walked me through everything that needed to be done for the job. I then went to get estimates at 3 other places and decided to move forward with A-​One. A-​One gave a fair price for the repair compared to the others and I felt Peter would be good to work with. A-​One did an excellent job repairing my car and I am happy for the work. I think A-​One does exceptional body and paint work for the amount they charge.

I had a front bumper to replace. Peter and his team was very professional and knowledgeable and my replacement bumper came out perfect. Five stars!

This review is about a year late, but this place definitely deserves the 5 stars.
Last year I had someone rear end my BMW, and I went to literally every single body shop within the Gardena area. Not only did this place give me the lowest quote, they were EXTREMELY polite and endearing throughout the entire process. On top of that, while my car was getting repaired they found further damage to the frame (unrelated to my car being rear ended) that Carmax and other body shops never even found. And instead of fixing it without my consent and charging extra, they called me BEFORE continuing any further work, just to inform me of the situation and ask for my permission to continue the repair. Extremely professional. Great workers, great experience, and they did a great job on my car. I’ll definitely be doing business again.

Just awesome. I don’t have any other words to use. I brought my car in and Peter gave me a fair and reasonable Estimate. He was so nice and hospitable. He told me to bring it in the following week. I had front end damage and it was my front grill and hood. When I dropped it off I had it back a day before he estimated I would get it back. Peter and his crew…

I went here last Monday to get an estimate. I had just got done getting my car maintenance at the South Bay Toyota. They had found that my front brake linings needed to be replaced. They wanted to charge me $ 330. I thought that price was outrageous so I Unilocaled for an auto body shop and this one popped up. Based on the good reviews, I went straight to this shop for an estimate.
When I got there, Peter helped me out by examining my car. He thoroughly explained to me that I needed new brake pads and my disc resurfaced. He quoted me at $ 200. An hundred dollars cheaper! So I put the 50 dollar deposit done and I’m actually on my way right now to get my brakes fixed. I am thankful that I found this place on Unilocal

I dropped off my truck here to get a complete inspection. They told me it would be $ 100. It was $ 150 for the inspection only.
They told me I needed a front end rebuild at $ 1800. I had a fuel leak that they quoted $ 400. I have a small hole in my Coolant Resevoir. They quoted $ 700 for this repair with new hoses.
So far I fixed the fuel leak in 2 minutes with a $ 50 part from the Ford Dealer. I got 4 new shocks and an alignment from Sams Tire for $ 485. He said” the front end looks fine, it just needs shocks and alignment”.
I priced a new coolant tank from Ford for $ 125 and $ 40 for hoses. So my total cost of repairs will end up being $ 750. They quoted me $ 2900! Wow!!!

I did not get my car serviced here, yet. for now I just asked for a quote.
the owner is so friendly, I could not believe it.
I arrived almost at the closing time and he, still made me a quote for my car.
the office was very clean and he is a meticulous gentleman, I would trust him in touching my beloved Audi.

Everyone has already stated the obvious, this shop is pure quality. I can only confirm this.
As a Gardena native, there are a lot of great quality affordable auto shops here. That’s why a lot of people in the LA area come to little tiny Gardena just to take care of there car. With all that being said, this is the I’m going to keep going to: the crème de la crème so to speak.
I do not in anyway want to make this post judgmental, but this place is a Japanese owned shop, and they deliver great Japanese customer service. A mechanic you can trust is usually something to be thankful enough, but they really go the extra mile with the service and lay out all the options for you depending on your budget and needs.

I can honestly say that I’m a 100% satisfied customer. I definitely will recommend these guys to any of my family member when they get into accident. Not that I wish that upon any of my fam… well, actually… Psych! lol But really tho, they were very professional but at the same time they were real friendly and courteous. Made me feel so much more at ease with everything that’s going through from beginning to the end. I needed to find a body/​collision repair shop that I can trust; it has to have at least a 3.5 to 4 stars with great recent reviews. Also location was a big thing for me, it had to be near where I live cuz I didn’t have AAA’s roadside assistance and towing lay around like that. But they can also prepare a tow truck within a hour if you can not find anybody that can tow your car for you. Which my roommate had the AAA, so I lucked out this time. Anyways, you’ll know how excellent their customer services and their fast and precise job on their repair; but before going to that, let’s start from the beginning.
I have an 2010 Toyota Avalon that I crashed about lil less than a year ago. I know I know, why did I take so long to repair my car right? Well, it was a very dark times for me… I got laid off from work few months prior to the crash. For the longer time, I was so unmotivated to look for a new job since I didn’t take any vacation or have any time to do what I wanted to do for like 3 – 4 years. But when the crash happened, I only had few hundred dollars left to my name with few unpaid bills (insurance was one of them…) so I’m constantly reminding myself that I cannot get into any kind of accident or I’m pretty much fcuked in the ass… HARD!!! Then the unthinkable happened, I was working part-​time at a bar and I had quit the job to focus only new day job. I got off the bar in the morning bright as hell already, tired as a mother… I was slapping myself to keep awake as I felt myself dosing off… And then…
BOOOOOOOMMMM!!! «(o.O;)’»?! .(inside my head). …Ummm… Wait, why is the side of an El Camino attached to the front bumper of my car??? And why is that OG Cholo looking guy inside the El Camino cussing at me and coming out the car real fast? …Ohhhh shieeet. Did I? Nooooo, did this really just happen? Please tell me I’m dreaming m… God? Why? …orz SMH FML… No need to state the obvious but my life had ended that day… lol
Then the ice ages had started in my life. It was a cold and difficult times, felt like there was no hope on surviving this ordeal lol. I had to go everywhere with a bus but still paying for my car note… Anyways, so basically for the longest time I was dead inside and out. I’ve gradually saved up my money to be able to afford the full repair cost but wanted to still save as much as possible.
Then I found these guys. I e-​mailed them to give me a free estimate and sent some picture of my car. The president of the repair shop called me within an hour asking if I can bring my car for an estimate. Since my car was undriveable I told him my situation and because I was near the shop, he came to me to give me an rough estimate. I had already gotten one estimate at that time for about 4000 – 4500 bucks somewhere else. He told me they can do it for less with a guarantee satisfaction. He then explain what they will do and could be done with my car in order to keep the cost down and still get what I want. How many presidents do you see in this day for them to go out their way to help a customer like me. But he kept his promise! My Car is as good as news for it didn’t even cost $ 3000! I Can’t complain on anything cuz it is perfect!!! Thank you guys!!! You absolutely saved my life! Thank you for the amazing job!!!

I have a VW that needed a new water pump, I called everyone in the area because my mechanic who specialize in VW said he didn’t have the tools to do that job, told me it will be expensive because the front end and engine has to be taken apart. I called for quotes and a few VW specialists said they can’t do it either and told me the same thing that it’s a lot of work. So I started calling general auto shops in the area, when I called A-​ONE they told me it would be better to come in for an inspection before they gave me a quote since they are not a VW specialist, they were 10 mins away so I thought I’d let them check it out.
Turns out they were fantastic, they told me all the work that needs to be done to replace a water pump, not only that they also recommended several other changes since they have to take apart the engine we might as change the thermostat and timing chain, total cost was $ 1500 which was on the lower end of what I was quoted from everyone else including VW specialists. A one year warranty on their work also gives me confidence in their work.
Wait — almost forgot what Bob told me, he asked how long I had the car, told him I just bought it so he suggested I go back to the dealer because it’s still covered under warranty, I called my dealer and was 3 days out of warranty — That’s another reason I felt they were an honest business, they gave good advice even though it could cost them in lost business.
As for the shop itself it’s very large and clean, the waiting room is large and comfortable, I highly recommend A-​ONE Auto Center!

We decided to take our company’s cargo van to A-​ONE when it needed several repairs. They repaired it quicker and for a better price than any of the surrounding competitors. They were in touch with our office throughout the entire process giving status updates and pricing estimates. We were impressed with their thoroughness in getting approval for pricing, specific repairs and helping us understand what was happening to the vehicle. Their phone professionalism and friendly demeanor was a nice change from most auto shops and they even called to follow-​up and see if the repairs were holding up alright.
