I just had my RX7 done here. They are nice guys, who keep their word and do good clean work. Price was fair for what they did too. you get what you pay for with paint and body. I would recommend this shop for anyone interested in custom work.

I had my car painted her for $ 3,800 and was extremely happy AT FIRST. it had a 5 year warranty and after 4 years the paint started cracking and peeling off. I called once or twice a month for a year to get an appointment to have it repainted and every time, they said they would call me back within a week. A month before the warranty was expired I took it to them and said I would leave it there till it was done. Two and a half weeks later they called me and said it was done. I picked it up and was happy until I saw the car in the sun. There were circle and runs in the paint and the carbon fiber hood that their «clearcoated» was already showing oxidation. I called them back and they said I would have to pay for a full paint job again because the warranty was expired. I recommended people to them for 4 years but I will NEVER recommend anyone to them again.

Got some few car parts painted from them. Was quoted DOUBLE at another place. Fair prices. Cool people. Job done in a timely manner. For sure will take all my future body work to them!

Esteban and others do such magnificent work at Auto Explosion. I’ve had several of my custom cars worked on by them. They have won a lot of awards and trophies for show cars, and they always make me feel like my car is brand new again. Apparently others feel the same, because I see a lot of high end custom rods being worked on all the time at this place.

AMAZING craftsmanship with equally AMAZING service! Under promised and over-​delivered, so happy I believed the hype and brought my car up to see them all the way from San Diego. Work was done faster than promised and that was even after I added a few extras into the mix. Professional staff, supper down to earth and made me feel right at home, can’t wait to go back. One off shaved, trimmed, and carbon fiber accented front bumper done in under a week, they even fixed a problem I’ve had with my hood popper free of charge. Also expedited some interior cf accents for me, Auto Explosion is a true Top Tier shop and they have the trophies to prove it, I HIGHLY recommend!!!

A great body shop for custom or regular collision work. I’ve been a long time customer since 2007 for my show car and they’ve been super at all aspect of my exterior build. The quality of the body work and the paint job are immaculate. I’ve seen many projects cars that have gotten numerous accolades from magazine, tv, movies, and trade shows e. g SEMA that have been built by Auto Explosion. They also offer collision repairs and work in conjunctions with most if not all insurance companies. An A+ in my books. Thanks again Auto Explosion for all the help throughout the years

I’m so grateful i found these guys. I’m always weary about who i take my car to and I’m 100% comfortable with the work they’ve done. I trust them to do what’s right and not cut corners just to save themselves money like other shops. Prices are always fair and even if another shop was cheaper i would still come here, there work speaks for itself.

Auto Explosions paint job was exceptional. everything about the quality of work here is amazing the owner of this place takes great pride in the attention to detail that goes into every single car i brought in my 2011 Bmw 5 Series which was hit from the front and when it was repaired it was flawless! and the price was very reasonable

Auto Explosion was AWESOME! Esteban was easy to work with. Their work was fantastic and made our cars look so much better. Extremely fast turnaround: dropped off in morning, picked up after work. And very reasonable prices. We are so glad we used them!

Great place to get your car worked on for just about any type of body work. I brought my car in after getting into an accident and Esteban didn’t hesitate to bring my car in and get it back to pristine condition! I trust his work and he’s a great guy to chat with. His prices are also very reasonable especially for the work he does. I’m really picky with getting my fenders rolled, bumper screws relocated and other small details that matter only to me but he made sure he put in the extra effort to keep my business.
If you want top notch work for your car? Definitely bring it to Esteban at Auto Explosion. Also check out all the trophies he has in his office, it’s quite impressive to say the least.

Obviously i am doing a review/​customer feed back because they’ve worked on my yellow car (see foto). This place is the coolest hang out for the import tuner and for the car lover enthusiast. Although they have worked on my car long years ago — i still get peoples attention– heads turning, people taking pics, and the cool comments– back when it was done up to today– it’s a good feeling! Why drive a car that looks like what everybody else has? I apologize for those who cannot afford their daydream come true by modifying their car because of financial situatio. I tell you — i was on the same financial situation before i made the decision with my Celica and yes i do understand it was not easy. My advice is set a goal and achieve it such as saving money or borrowing money but have a plan in giving it back because when it’s all done, your car and peoples remarks will remind you that you did it — you wished it, dreamed about it and reached it — overall at the end, it’s worth it-​like that credit card commercial — it’s priceless. There will be many positive people and some negative people (haters) after modifying your car. Let the negatives waste their energy by using all their facial muscles but you have one muscle to use for feedback– your middle finger.
Anyways, i have always been fascinated to stand out with my ride so getting into a big wreck sort of opened the door for me. I guess be careful what you wish for– it might just happen right? Being my apartment is literally 2 blocks away from Esteban shop — i was able to see my ride transform when they were working on it. And until today– i am able to stop by say hello and check out other customers rides. I am so glad they got rid of their previous guy secretary. I said this because he seems to make the decisions for Esteban back then such as on my ride (maybe on others ride back in the days) that guy decided putting an ugly wing on my ride. I arrived one day and it was already installed. Whateverz, moving on.
I had to give them 4 out of 5 starz just because after my car is done and spiffy, people commented why did’nt they paint inside the engine bay as well, where at this one place will? Hmmm? After many years later (more than 10) and many pot holes, speed bumps or rail road tracks, my body kit is holding real well — Kudos to Auto Explosion — like i said my Glory Days is — Priceless.

Estaban is a cool guy and he does great work! He agreed to take my car after a horrible experience at another body shop. It was abandoned half way through the process. Auto Explosion fixed the other shops terrible body work, did their own body work and it came out amazing, not to mention how awesome of a job they do with fiberglass body kits too!
They have a lifetime warranty on any type of paint flaws/bubbling…stuff that isn’t caused by rocks, chipping or scratches. I never worry about my car being left there because their facility is safe and you can’t see inside. Prices are good but definitely in the mid to upper range. You truly get what you pay for. If I ever need another quality show car paint job, this is the place to go!

Awesome place, great price, and great work. They color matched my bumper 100%, which was amazing since it is a hard color to match. This is definitely the bodyshop to go to. It’s a little bit of a drive for me but well worth it. They have done many show cars and treat you excellent, unlike other places which will paint your car like crap if you dont bring in a showcar. This place is two thumbs up and I will be getting my brothers bodykit painted here shortly!
