My e90 needed its breaks flushed so I decided to come here and right when I came in, I was greeted by a tall white guy named James (claimed he was the owner). I told him about the service I wanted and we both agreed on the price which was 120. Though it was higher than normal, I really didn’t want to shop around because me and my gf are going to Vegas the week after. After two hours, James called me and told me that my car needed an engine service. I asked him how much and he said 60 $. I agreed to it thinking it was 60 $ including labor since that’s the price he said.
When I came back to pick up my car, he told me the sensors for the breaks and radiator are faulty. James told me that it will cost 800 $ to replace the radiator sensors because he has to install a new radiator upon replacing the sensors and 70 $ for new break sensors. James told me that my breaks are after market breaks and his computer kept giving him an error or whatever. I’m sure he messed up trying to put my break sensors back to its original state because that light wasn’t there.
The break flush and the engine service cost around 370. 3 fucken 70 dollars. I thought the engince service was only 60?! James YOU DIDN’T MENTION THE LABOR IS 3X MORE THAN THE SERVICE HOLY CRAP :0. You even had the nerve to ask me if I want to get my sensors done after you messed it all up and charged me a crazy ass labor fee. Oh, and my car looked a christmas tree with the break and service light on Anyway, I kindly told him,“No and it’s fine that I will shop around first.” –_​–
Anyway, when I got home I noticed that I left my paycheck stubs in my compartment so I’m guessing he saw that and wanted $$$ from me. ALSO, WHEN I GOT HOME I CHECKED MY RADIATOR AND NOTICED THE CAP WASN’T CLOSED ALL THE WAY NO WONDER WHY MY «RADIATOR SENSOR IS FAULTY» YOU DIDN’T CLOSED IT ALL THE WAY DOWN AND NOW MY SERVICE LIGHT ISN’T ON ANYMORE. EVEN DROVE TO VEGAS BACK AND FORTH WITH NO SERVICE LIGHT ON. NICE TRY TRYING TO RIP 800 $ FROM ME BRO!

Umm, in response to this person from CA Auto Imports, I did report them to the Better Business Bureau. The complaint was NOT «exonerated.» There was simply no way to actually PROVE the poor quality work by CA Auto Imports because this company does not keep a record of anything. The representative from BBB apologized to me for the poor ability they have to support the rights of consumers.
Now this guy from CA Auto Imports has done something else misleading by writing this rebuttal to my complaint. Not a good sign. You would be better off sir by addressing my complaint in the first place.

It’s hard to know who to trust with an investment as important as your BMW. Well, now you need look no further.
These guys are a the honest old fashioned hard working ethical kind of car place you thought didnt exist anymore.
I’ve mainly dealt with James, and it’s great to be able to relax and know your car is well taken care of. I was referred here by my car enthusiast friends for my 335 when so bay BMW gave me the run around.
South Bay BMW couldn’t figure out what was causing the sudden drop in power and to this day they still won’t admit they didn’t know what was wrong.
James diagnosed the problem as a faulty turbo fuel injector. It was such a breath of fresh air to have a knowledable guy like James work on my car. And they deliver exactly what they promise.

I found this place by accident. I work in the area and had driven by a few times. James and Tad are always helpful. They do quality work and also recommend fixes that can be done later as a heads up.
They finish on time and within the estimate. When possible, I take all of my cars there for maintenance.
