The best part is that we start at 3pm. You can take your time waking up and still get there in time for the experience.

At GENESIS we always have a reception afterward, which we consider just as important as the 1st part. There is a plethora of food styles, awesome conversations and time to catch up and reflect.

Everyone eats ’til they are full and hangs out ’til they are socially and spiritually satisfied!

History

Established in 2006.

We are a multicultural relevant community that seeks to grow in Christ through worship, social fellowship and local/​global outreach.

We are committed to having a high quality service. We do this by communicating the love of God that can transform anybody into a new creation with multimedia, dramas, videos, exceptional praise, prayer and meditation, props, and group discussions!

We are very real. People who attend GENESIS lay it down as it is and don’t hide who they really are. It is a safe environment and people are not afraid to share themselves with others. We are friendly and open.

We are young and intimate. GENESIS is a growing group of 60 – 70 people and the average age is 29. Made up of young adult professionals and families there is wonderful potential. It is an exciting thing to be part of a movement that is on the verge of exploding.

I’m definitely with the other reviewers here. :) You are definitely spiritually (as well as physically!) fed with the great worship, message, warm and close-​knit congregation, and last but not least, FOODIE SHINDIG! :) Love the come-​as-​you-​are, progressive, non-​denominational-​ish type of feel. You don’t see the «frozen chosen» and country-​club attitude here like in most typical other churches I’ve been to. Worth the weekly two-​hour round-​trip commute! :)

I love Genesis… everybody, and I do mean everybody is cool. The young peeps the middle age peeps, the old peeps, shoot even the little kids! The easter weekend service was great. Church was awesome, the BBQ was on point, and the easter egg hunt was cool too. My wife and son and I had so much fun. Oh and back to the nice kids… they all protect my son (who is just 2yrs old) in the bouncy house. Really great people and I truly feel God working over there. …oh and they start at 3pm on saturday afternoon! You don’t even have to wake up early!

This place has been a complete blessing! I’m an individual who tends to find herself lost. Not just spiritually, but in life in general. Each visit to Genesis I find a piece of myself more and more. Then I realize that I am getting closer and closer with God and the same time.
It’s comforting when you are there with all the smiles and warm hugs you receive. Praising God in worship is fabulous. Weather it be upbeat to move your feet, or one that is slow to sooth your soul. There is always something to do with Genesis, may it be fellowshipping at an event or just simply giving your time to an out reach. Our Pastor is BRILLIANT! He finds creative ways to connect with us about God and how He works in our lives. How you can take the most simplest views and apply them to our daily work.
Finally, the best part for some or honestly just all. When you have been blessed by the best you tend to find yourself hungry… right? Well at Genesis they think of everything! After service there is meal waiting just for you! We actually cater to vegetarians and meat lovers and at times to those with a bit of a sweet tooth: D
Genesis is really an experience that you will take with you where ever you go. I truly hope you will grace us with your presence. Be Blessed!

Genesis is an amazing place to fellowship, worship God, and especially to meet great people. I’ve always said that like attracts like, and this place just keeps bringing in amazing people. People are REAL, honest, vulnerable. People at this church are not trying to come all «churched» up. They come raw, real, and with a willingness to be MORE in God.

one of the best churches you can attend. the singing is phenomenal, the sermons are uplifting but the congregation are the most genuine and caring people collected together. i definitely suggest at least one visit because after one visit, you’ll want to stay.
