Poorly made plate i ordered the # 4 it was NOT well made the beans were watery the rice was too light & the red sauce too watery. By the time i got finished with it my hands were all red. Also PARKING is hard to park around the area. Should have gone to the GOLDENEAGLE which is across the street or someplace else.

I always get my meat from here. The marinated chicken and bistec is so delicious. Also the torta cubana is really good.

I tried this place out because of the high ratings. Had the carnitas and carne asada tacos. They were bland and so was their salsas. Not worth the effort to go there.

This little hole in the wall has some devilishly good grub. I never woulda known. Drove past it a million times before noticing it wasn’t just a market but an eatery as well. There is a lot to like about this place. As a matter of fact, it’s slowly become one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. And this despite the gross, sticky tables in the dining room. When I feel like getting away from the office a bit I make sure to lay out plenty of napkins while I watch the spanish broadcast of soccer and enjoy my Alambre. Because alambre to go just couldn’t be the same experience. The grease would probably melt through the styrofoam and it’s much better stuffing a tortilla from the plate. If you can get past that(or do the to go), this place is the bomb. So many things worth trying from the different varieties of tortas to the mulitas to straight tacos. This is another place where I just want to give everything on the menu a try(besides that giant mojarra frita whole fish that is just not for me). And I will. Give me time and I shall do it. You can also get ceramic Mexican wrestler banks, cheap candy, various South American sodas and interesting hot sauces. The owners are nice people and always greet you with a smile. I highly recommend La Mexicana Market & Tortaria!

Part mini market part restaurant. Ive been coming here for a while since the carne asada plate’s have been the best Ive ever had. They always put together a really good filling plate. The service has always been excellent and I love the hand made tortillas. The best part is on Wednesdays & Thursday’s you can get any plate for 5 $
