Mac1 specializes in competition and sporting airguns and related accessories. Accuracy is the passion and Mac1 manufacturers and modifies guns to the most accurate of possible tunes. Benchrest, Field Target, Silhouette and Target disciplines are a specialty. Mac1 also manufacturers reworked factory Multi-​Pump platforms called Steroids from Benjamin and Sheridan to give better durability and long life to sporting airguns. Mac1 was founded in 1982 from the Organization Les McMurray & Son which my grandfather started in 1932. The Business model is to push the quality and accuracy envelope for all items we sell in an effort to fund my Shooting Benchrest Competition in search of the World Championships of the future. In 2011 I got Bronze for my personal effort at the Worlds Airgun Benchrest HV class category and a Gold for my 3 man Top USA team effort. «You’ve Come A Long Way BB».

History

Established in 1982.

Founded my Les McMurray as «Fin Fur & Feather» in 1932 to service and warrantee Crosman Airguns as well as full service sporting goods.

Les & Don McMurray ran the Business as Les McMurray & Son (a Partnership) from 1959 till Les Died in 1977. In 78 the Company became McMurray & Son (a partnership between my mother Neva and father Don).

In 1982 I acquired the business assets of McMurray & Son and subsequently rebadged the business Mac1 Airgun Distributors. 80 years and counting.

I work so I can compete. All my efforts go to make accurate guns so I can go win championships with the guns I make. The Ferrari Business model is alive and well in Gardena. I don’t compete so I can sell. I sell so we can compete.

3^rd in the Worlds 2011 BenchRest HV class doesn’t suck but it isn’t what I worked so hard for. As a competitor only the Gold will do. Can’t wait for Brisbane Australia BR Worlds in 2015.
