Rage Hair Salon

My friends and family recommended this salon. Sandy is the owner and the only stylist here. So definitely make an appointment because she is always booked. I was looking for a salon that could provide great color and cut at a reasonable price. I definitely was not disappointed! Sandy gave me such a fantastic cut, that all I have to do is blow dry and go! Before I always had to dry, curl, put in a lot of product to hold and it was very «high maintenance». Not with this cut! Sandy rocks! And the color she’s uses is «top notch” – it lasts about 3 – 4 weeks before I need a touch up. Where as (at my old expensive salon) the color would fade after a few weeks. I highly recommend «Rage» Salon and Sandy!

I wish Rage was in South OC. If she were here, she’d be my regular hairdresser. I have friends from Redondo, PV and Westchester who all go to Sandy. She’s really good in every way.

My friend recommended this place to me, as I’m still in search of a decent hair salon that doesn’t haphazardly chop at my strands. It’s a small hole-​in-​the-​wall place in the semi-​sketchy area of Gardena. There’s only one lady, the owner and hair dresser. She’s really nice and friendly, and quite chatty. It was interesting when she discovered that I wanted to be a teacher, and she spent about 10 minutes trying to talk me out of it. Funny stuff! She does a pretty thorough job of evening out the ends, and she spends time drying it, and then going through and cutting it again. Just make sure to tell her a little less than you want cut off, because my hair ended up a little shorter than I wanted it. However, I was pretty pleased with the results. And it was only $ 24! That definitely beats any other place I’ve gone to.
