Every since I tried Yo-Way I don’t even waste my time trying any other sandwich place. Amazing service with a helpful staff and fresh ingredients. You have to go if you’re in the area or out of the area.

I reccommend telling them what you don’t like, then just let the sandwich experts do their thing. They not only know how to make a sandwich, but also they know how service works.

I rate YO-WAY Five Stars TERRIBLE! I wanted to take half of my Pastrami home with me, but I wound up eating the whole thing. Dam, I hate when that happens. Great Sandwich Shop — Boars Head meats, a great selection of Sliced Bread/rolls and condiments. The staff made it clear that they were on a mission to make me a great sandwich — MYWAY? Some constructive criticism — that after my very good sandwich eating experience, I too was at a loss as what do I do with my basket. Please try and arrange for one location dump station — trash, recyclables, and a used basket location. I will definitely be back and bringing family and friend’s.

I found this place on Unilocal while searching for a sandwich place close to home. I saw that this place had 5 stars with almost 200 review so I had to try it. It Definately is. There were no guests inside when i arrived but was geeeted by a man who explained how to order. When you come in you fill out a paper with what sandwich and toppings you would like. Don’t worry. If you look confused the employees will be more than happy to explain it to you. On top of a great sandwich we received outstanding service. All of the employees were extremely friendly and made the wait for a meal enjoyable. The bread was soft and thw ingredients were fresh. Definately recommend this place and going back.

Before going to Yo-Way a part of me didn’t want to give it 5 stars because c’mon… what place can be this perfect? However, I was 100% stumped at how delicious my sandwich was and the great customer service that came with it. I arrived around 2:20pm on a Wednesday afternoon to an empty restaurant. When I walked in I was greeted cheerfully by an employee named Jay. I told Jay it was my first time and he got excited and started to break down the whole process. I can get one of the premade sandwiches or create my own. He asked me what sort of deli meat I liked and I told him turkey. He let me try their cajun turkey and was instantly in love. I figured I’d make my own simple sandwich and leave something more complicated for a later time. I got cajun turkey on wheat bread with mustard, provolone cheese, onions, spinach, salt and pepper. This may sound pretty basic but it was probably the best sandwich I ever had. The bread was fresh(bread delivered daily) and jam packed with turkey. All in all a great experience and delicious food. Going back asap.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out and if you didn’t know where to look you would totally drive by as it’s not really marketed well for the street it’s on. Set inside a small plaza is a little sandwich shop you would never think to look. We decided to make our own sandwich as you can build your own using the order form(like how it is at The Counter). Let me tell you, they do NOT skimp on anything. The owner(I’m assuming he was) offered me a taste of the roast beef and ohmygawwwwd it was sliced so thin and it was just melt in your mouth delicious. They offer an assortment of breads, cheeses, and condiments to add to your sandwich or salad. I will say that it’s a little pricey, I ordered 3 sandwiches, 3 chips and 2 drinks and it was $ 38BUT I felt the with quality and taste was worth it. Definitely gonna come back again.

When we first went in, Dave asked if we were new, introduced himself, and gave us the rundown. I don’t know if he’s the owner, but I’m assuming he is based on his genuine care and pride for the store, product, and customer. I got the Blazin’ Cajun Turkey on sourdough and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The meat is so good, and make sure you get the Cajun mayo with it, too. Lots of flavor, and made with care. Definitely not a sloppy sandwich thrown together. I also love that they have so many bread options! I wish I was from the area so I could frequent this place often. I definitely recommend this place to those in the area or for those just passing through!

Hadn’t ate breakfast and was craving a really good sandwich. my boyfriend isn’t easily satisfied and I asked him to give it a try. I was nervous because if it wasn’t good. He’d be very disappointed. We went in and Drake greeted us, we even got a sample of the Cajun turkey and chicken salad. BOTH very good ! They asked what we liked, if we wanted our bread toasted, and if we wanted to try the Cajun sauce. We actually got a sample of that tooo. very great service and sandwiches. glad we stopped by !

This place is in a really random strip mall, so I followed the Unilocal gods to get here. I think my review is more like 3.5 stars, I really wanted to like this, and it had all the necessary steps for a good sandwich, but the only problem was the bread. I got the wheat roll, which was just wayyy too thick in my opinion, and even though they seriously packed the sandwich with fresh ingredients, unfortunately the breadiness really took away from it. So if I ever go back, I’ll just have to make sure to pick different bread, because everything else was really good. The staff was very friendly, and there were 3 people working so that made everything real fast. They all seemed to enjoy their job!

After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I was hooked. I finally had time to swing by Monday and was beyond happy Walking in I was greeted by the staff which were extremely friendly. Looking at the menu and couldn’t decide what to order, I ordered a custom sandwich. I watched them make another customers sandwiches, I cant believe the amount of items they offer and how well portioned they are. Then I saw the Boars Head stickers and it was on. I ended up ordering a Turkey, Avocado, Bacon, mayo n mustard sandwich on Cranberry Walnut bread lightly toasted. Damb, it was so good. As I was waiting Drake gave me a sample of the Cajun turkey, I immediately regretted ordering the plain turkey until I ate it. Next time I will order the Cajun turkey for sure. Highly recommend anything on the menu, I’ll be back with my family for more.

The good: 1. Customer service was pleasant, cordial and professional. 2. The bread, soft and fresh. 3. The sandwich, overall good taste and flavor. The bad: 1. Lobby area was dirty. Empty baskets and leftover food from customers that had not been bussed. This was immediately noticeable because of the limited seating. 2. Was given order card, ordered sourdough for my custom sandwich and was told after 5 minutes of waiting that they were out of sour dough. They had every other type of bread bit no more sour dough. This could have easily been avoided by posting a sign or even mentioning before ordering that they are out of sour dough. 3. Register employee was underage. Perhaps 11 – 13 years old. Another employee wearing sanitary gloves to make the food came to assist her, but eventually touched the register with the gloves on. 4. Price. If subway was a 5 out of 10 and 10 was perfect, this place is a 7 out of 10. However, this does not justify the price. For 2 people it was $ 24. That is too much for a sandwich shop. If the overall price had been $ 16-$ 18, I could have given them another star. Overall, this is a good sandwich shop and I can tell why they got great reviews. Perhaps they were just a little off their game during my visit. Recommended.

Not only do they have great food here, they have great staff. My first time there was warm and welcoming, and by the time I left I felt like I was leaving behind good friends of mine. If you’re not sure what to get they will gladly make delicious suggestions, and you will not regret it. My first sandwich was chicken salad on sourdough, mayo, mustard, sweet chili sauce, lettuce and spinach, cucumbers, and sprouts. Heavenly. My second visit was pastrami, roast beef, and salami on sourdough(I love sourdough) with mayo, mustard, and double sweet chili sauce, lettuce and spinach, Swiss cheese, and cucumbers, and toasted. Also heavenly amazing. If you want fresh(and I mean real fresh, not Subway fresh), come here. You’ll walk in a stranger and leave as family.

This spot makes fresh delicious sandwiches. This was my very first time here and I was definitely not disappointed. The friendliness of the staff mixed with the amazingly tasty sandwiches was truly worth my time. I was able to order my sandwich from the meat to the bread and finally to my condiments with toppings. My hubby and I really enjoyed our sandwiches. The quality of the meats and cheeses are way better then any subway sandwich or sub sandwiches you could buy. The actual spot is small and located off of a busy street but truly deserves recognition. We will definitely be back and hope that this business gets all the success it deserves.

Decided to give it a try since one of my coworkers talked about how they had great sandwiches. I got the pastrami with walnut cranberry bread, slightly toasted. It was heaven! Mind you, I’m not a big sandwich fan but this place was just delish! I’ve already recommended this place to my other coworkers and they’ve all loved it. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful! They were all so welcoming! I didn’t know what to get and they decided to recommend us what bread and cheese would go great with our meat. They even gave us free cucumber! Their price was also very reasonable for the portion of the sandwich! I’ll definitely keep coming back here!

5 stars for a sandwich shop? I had to check this place out! Tucked away in a small lot behind a liquor store, I’ve passed by this place multiple times and did not even know it was there! As soon as I entered, I was greeted immediately and asked if it was my first time there. I said that it was, and the guy behind the counter explained how to order. There is a stack of ordering sheets next to the register. Grab one for each sandwich and a pen, and check off each item you would like in your sandwich. Specify your bread type, cheese, meat, condiments, and sauces. They use Boar’s Head meat – good quality stuff! Once you finish filling out the sheet, hand it to an employee behind the counter, and they will put together your sandwich creation. The guy making my sandwich told me to, «get ready for the best sandwich of your life.» Haha, and I’m not going to lie, it was a pretty delicious sandwich! I ordered a #2 Turkey Tussle with Swiss cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomato, cucumber, pickles, and alfalfa sprouts with oil and vinegar and honey mustard. I’m usually not a fan of any type of mustard, but this one complimented the sandwich nicely and was not too strong! I also tried some of the #6 Club Stacker that has turkey, roast beef, ham, and cheese in it. There was lot of meat, and this sandwich was tasty as well. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the sandwich was made neatly and packed carefully. It’s the little things like this that really add to the business. The staff here is also really great! Everyone was super friendly and polite. They even started making up their own lyrics about sandwiches to a jazz song. I was thoroughly entertained! I will definitely be back!

Unilocal challenge 2015149⁄365 Yo way My way However way Its Yo way For the first time in a long time. Unilocal did not lie to me. This place is legit. From Sandwiches to Smoothies and fro yo, makes for a perfect lunch spot. Located on Vermont near 182nd street in a teeny tiny plaza that can easily be missed if you blink your eye. Im serious, I passed right by it. Just look for the liquor sign and pull into the lot. If you see an ambulance, your in the right lot. It is almost across from the transit center and Easy access to the 91, 405, and 110. Service here was top knotch. Super duper cool owner named Dave(I think) who treats you like a old friend. He will get your whole life story. He takes great pride in his sandwiches and sprinkles love into them. He even gives you samples of the carved meats as he prepares your sandwich. The sandwiches are huge handled with care, as they should be. They are not just slopped together like some places. The sqaw bread here was the softest bread I’ve ever touched. Caressed with some chipoltle mayo and deli mustard, gently spread all over with such care. Topped with a generous helping of freshly sliced chicken breast deli meat, peppered jack cheese. Fresh veggies, purple onions, banana peppers, cruncy pickles, leaf lettuce, avocado that sliced like butter. Then drizzled in a house oil blend. Sliced in half and wrapped perfectly. That was My way! Only thing I forgot was the bacon. One bite and I was in love. One bite and my hand was tired of holding the ginormous sandwich. It’s not just big, but really big. I had to smash it down to fit my mouth around it. Lots of other FRESHLY carved Boars head meats available, including Turkey, roast beef, ham pastrami, Italian meats, ect. Lots of of chesses from swiss to provolone to peppered jack. Choice of soft breads, rolls, ect. Plenty of veggies from sprouts to purple onions to tomatoe and all the greens in between. It’s made your way! No lie…5 star freshness, 5 star service, 5 star coolness, and 5 star mouth watering Yum. As a bonus, the other lady Unilocalers are right, the guy in here could be considered eye candy, if your into handsome men handling meat. My sandwich with added avacado, bag of Hawaiian bbq onion chips and Snapple was $ 12. A little more than chain places, but your not going to find this freshness anywhere else. Review #644

Let me start by saying I love build your own kind of places and sandwiches in general. I had this place bookmarked because of the rating and the fact a sandwich place isn’t too far from work. It’s pretty hidden. In a tucked away plaza on Vermont. Mike and Drake introduced themselves and were very polite. You get a free vanilla frozen yogurt with your purchase! Woohoo! I built my own sandwich and they have a great selection of meats, cheeses, bread, and condiments! Siracha mayo, cajun mayo?! Plus they have avocado. Most sandwiches on the board are about $ 7. They didn’t have prices on the sheet to build your own(except avo and bacon are $ 1 more) so somehow mine ended up being about $ 11. I wish they included toppings/meat prices on the sheet or just put how much you are charged for the toppings. Also, I was excited they have a bowl with business cards in it for a weekly free sandwich raffle! I will definitely become a regular since I love sandwiches and there aren’t a ton of quality places to choose from around my work. Alot of fast food and mediocre joints.
