Dr. Carlson is a Board Certified, Family Practice physician. Walk-​ins and appointments are accepted. If you are in a hurry, and need to be seen right away, we also have an experienced certified PA (Physician Assistant). X-​rays, lab work and referrals are all done right here on sight.

Dr. Carlson has received special awards for his high quality care in both Diabetic and Asthma care.

At Best Care Family Medical Center, we are able treat general illnesses, high blood pressure, obesity and perform physicals as well as urgent needs like minor lacerations and fever.

Allergy Testing — If you are like most people in the area, you have allergies. If you are curious to find out exactly what you are allergic to, we also have allergy testing that gives you immediate results along with individualized immunotherapy.

We accept most insurance plans along with Medicare and Medicare supplements.

Established in 1988.

Dr Carlson started working at this location in Garland while he was a resident at St Paul Medical Center in Dallas. He liked working with the people in this area so much, bought the practice a few years later and has now been here for over 20 years!
