I have been trading here for over 20 years. I have purchased more than 10 bicycles and had many tunes ups and repairs made at DJBW. The people in the shop are great. I live 15 miles from DJ’s Bike World but choose to pass up other shops that are closer to my home. The owners and staff are great. DJ’s Bike World is my bike home!!!

DJs bike world is a true bicycle shop! They offer a fine selection of bicycles and have a friendly staff to service your bicycle needs. They recently helped me find some decals I needed for a vintage bike I am rebuilding. When I picked them up, I was able to get the other parts I needed as well. Very knowledgeable staff to point me in the right direction. I highly recommend DJs.

The lingering bummer cloud of my stolen bike was replaced by a flash of gold light with a quick visit to Don Johl’s Bikeland. The long trek (20 minutes from downtown Dallas) mthrough uninspiring Mesquite on highway 30, the landscape for King of the Hill perhaps with boring retail chains like Taco Bueno and old motels like Galaxy Inn, zipped me to the only place I knew around Dallas with a heavy cachet of bmx rides.
A scruffy older guy named Mitch, who was the opposite of stressed out, and reminded me of a sort of kind counter culture personality ready to sit around for hours of witty banter. Sweet and friendly Mitch eased my $ 500 investment with humour and finesse, proving that country can be really cool, if not totally hip.
My GT 26″ wheel bmx bike with lock, which Mitch kindly set for me, was just under $ 500.
To personalize your purchase, the website offers tons of bikes available for order, but I found something that I liked enough and in my price range on the floor. Order bikes take about a week.
The store stocks all kinda of bikes, used 1950’s style, mountain bikes and of course original bmx. «That’s what this store was founded on.» Mitch emphasized.

I’ve never left a bike shop feeling so furious. I came in to ask for a bike box (which most bike shops throw out as trash anyways) and this man had to think and tell me it costs $ 10! Paying money for something that would’ve been thrown out anyway is ridiculous. I’ve picked up boxes from places before since I’ve traveled to many places and this is the FIRST time I was asked to pay! Not only was the man rude, he continued to talk insultingly to me! Poor customer service for an atmosphere that is suppose to be friendly. Save your money because the bikes are OVERPRICED for they year that they were made! They just want your money!

As new bikers, my husband and I walked in here for recommendations on a new seat and new handlebars. It took the staff a little while to give more than just the generic answers to our questions, but overall, they were helpful.
