Today this company by accident faxed me 8 pages of someone in Kennedale HVAC inspection checklist. I called them to let them know they faxed the wrong person and OMG these 2 young woman were so rude to me instead of saying were sorry or thank you I got nasty attitude. They kept asking me who I was and I kept explaining you faxed me by accident and they did not get and when I asked them do you understand what I am saying they hung up on me. This seemed like important paperwork but I am glad they are not my HVAC company. If your builder is using them good luck. When building a house in Texas PAY FOR YOUR OWN PHASE INSPECTION. That means from the day the concrete is poured till house is finished. This market has been bad since 2001 and this is why I gave my realtor license back to Texas. All builders use the cheapest people they can find. Plumbers, AC ompanies, electrical, etc. Buyer Beware. PAY FOR AN INSPECTION. .Because after you .move in that when trouble starts. Leaks, rooms that are not cooling right. Bad duct work. .So if you have not closed yet have it inspected. Reason houses are cheap here well this is why. Google Sandra Bullock and see what her Texas builder did to her .She sued and won. You know why. Because she could afford to.

I think it needs to be said, apparently this company has completely reorganized since two of these negative reviews were written, and I think you owe to your yourself to give K&S another try. I called them on recommendation of a neighbor, since the previous service company we had both used had gone out of business and I needed my thermostat replaced.
From the time that they sent Dan out of evaluate my situation, I could tell I was in good hands. He was extremely knowledgeable about the zoned unit we had, which I later came to find out not everyone is, and took care of my problem right away. Some months later I had requested him to come back out and perform a routine maintenance check, and it was then he discovered that we were needing a new damper control module and some duct work performed and gave me a quote for those services. It was then my husband discovered the company’s dismal Unilocal reviews, and even though he too was impressed with Dan, he thought we should get another estimate from a different company. For this, he chose one of the highest rated companies according to Unilocal reviews. When that guy came out, he first began by telling me how much he disliked zoned systems, as if THAT would impress me (!), and then looked over everything Dan had laid out and assured me it was as good or better than he would do and the price he quoted me was more than fair.
Yesterday we had K&S back out to do the actual work, and were we ever glad we did! The crew, led by a respectful and helpful boss named Cesar, worked diligently in the triple digit heat up in my attic until I was fixed up. Dan and his partner Wayne even insisted on coming out to inspect and make sure the work from his service order was being performed according to his recommendations. The two of them have logged in 30 and 38 years respectively in this service industry and it showed in how they did their job. Cesar even found a defective air supply coming in the kitchen area, outside of any area where they had been working, and offered to replace that duct work for me as well.
I am a big fan of Unilocal reviews, but sometimes when businesses change hands or reorganize, what is written is not necessarily a fair appraisal of a company’s current practices. That was certainly our experience here, and I am hopeful that K&S continues to provide this kind of outstanding service, because in the DFW area, EVERYONE needs an A/​C service provider you know will show up for you with excellence and competence for a fair price!

HORRIBLE! TEXAS FIRST home builders should drop these folks as sub contractors!
Warranty call to replace a faulty system that’s less than a year old, has taken (as of today) 7days to fix «how is that possible??» DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This company is the worst!!! They quoted me a price to replace my A/​C Coil and they were not going to credit me for my coil that was covered by the manufacture’s warranty. So, essentially, they were trying to make more than a 1K for a $ 450 repair. They recently replaced a capacitor for the A/​C compressor. The builder paid for the repair, but they charged the builder $ 120 for a $ 20.00 part. Ann, their so called customer service manager is rude and doesn’t help at all when I had questions. I would stay away from this company at all costs!!!
