You cannot this type of delicious Italian food anywhere but here! Family owned and great customer service! I no longer live in the area; however, I always try to stop by whenever I am in town. The facility could use a little lift up but the food is to die for! Try the baked ziti!

The place is «da bomb.com». Even though is gets a little pricey the food is definitely worth it. The pink sauce that is not on the menu is definitely as well, I would highly recommend this place for a lovely date for you pizza lovers.

Food is so good! The sauces they have are unbelievable. The salad is good, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken piccata are the best! Only 4 stars because the place could use some sprucing up and service is a little slow.

Ok I have many complaints about this place… None about the pizza… We have been eating their food for over 20 years. 95% of the time, we order a pizza for pickup. Even though we live 30 minutes away we travel there just for awesome New York style pizza . Their pastas and appetizers aren’t bad at all, but nothing to write home about… Again, the pizza is where it’s at. Even when we decide to eat there, we call ahead and order when we’re on the way. This is because the service is among the worst service ANYWHERE… Seriously, it’s hard to get anything… I’ve waited 30 minutes just to get a soda refill. Pitchers of beer are cheap(but it’s not a large selection). They have a really good Amber beer on tap… I believe a pitcher is $ 6 or $ 7. There is a smoking section, for those of you that are into that sort of thing. For non smokers. The smell of the delicious pizza is too strong to be bothered by the smoke. To conclude… Terrible terrible terrible service… Oh did I mention the service is terrible… BUT, the pizza is SOGOOD, that I still wouldn’t give them anything but 5 stars. There just aren’t enough restaurants with New York pizza this good in the Dallas area to complain. So, do what I do… Order a large pizza for pickup, or for delivery if you’re close… And enjoy it at home.

Love this place! My go to for nice pizza. The waiter is awesome, and the décor is great. When it’s really busy the wait can be kinda long but that’s understandable!

Well I don’t think I have ever written a 1 star review, but wish I could put 0. Let me just say this is only for the customer service aspect of the place because I actually walked out after getting attitude from the big B, I assume owner, after being told my order on the phone was one price, I walk in to pick up my food and the cashier who didn’t even bother to look up or acknowledge me, gave me a lower price which made me wonder if the order was wrong, then asked her to read me back the order in which the«B» came over mumbling something then told the girl she rang up the order wrong and was given a higher price. When I tried to tell her that when I looked at the pricing on Unilocal she said that it was wrong and it was Unilocal fault. And even though I found this place on Unilocal, she didn’t care so I left. Hate that there is no good pizza places here and if this place was one, I will never find out.

Great pizza and sometimes ravioli is on point, but other times it’s bland. They have mushroom ravioli but they only add mushrooms to it. Lobster ravioli states very fishy. Pink sauce, sadly is bland. The last couple times we’ve ordered, we’ve just been disappointed

If you’re lookin’ for a New York«goombah» style slice… this place is for you. From the old school Italian décor to the traditional Italian fare… this restaurant has something for everyone. Calzones and strombolis, hot and cold subs and a traditional New York style thin crust hand tossed pizza… and don’t forget the many pasta dishes and desserts. Being a Detroiter, transplanted in the great Republic of Texas… pizza is a big part of my life and something you can get on every street corner in Michigan. Texas… yeah fuget about it! When you find a Texas pizza gem… you just got to rave. This place is that… it’s not fancy, but the food is great!

I have been eating here for over 15 years and keep coming back because it is the best Italian food. Manicotti has to be my favorite dish, but everything I have had has been wonderful. The cannolis are a perfect way to end a good meal. Admittedly, I no longer eat inside because there is smoking and the place is always so busy. The owner and workers will remember a face; even if you haven’t been by in years and are always friendly. I know some people say they are not, but odds are they are just overwhelmed by business.

Do not order over the phone, they will get your order wrong. I feel like all the workers here can’t understand English. I only ordered a Sali’s Fettuccine and they somehow got Chicken Alfredo and a slice of pizza. After she said the order, I tried to correct it but she hung up. I called back and asked about my order to make sure it was right and she said«yeah the fettuccine» and hung up again. I went to pick it up and it was wrong so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes and they got my order wrong again. So I just paid and went home.

Worst management possible. Numerous orders screwed up in the past. Last week I order and they call me and tell me they are at my house with my delivery. I open the door and no one is there. I tell them no one is there and they act like I am crazy. It took them 30 more minutes to find my house. I am less than 2 miles from the restaurant. Today I ordered again and I shouldn’t have. They never showed up, never called or anything. I didn’t bother calling because I didn’t even want the food after all these mistakes. I will never order from them again.

I’ve been to this pizzeria many times and stopped coming because the pizza is too greasy and not fresh – it sits out and they reheat it. I was in the neighborhood and wanted to give it another chance and was quite disappointed. The pizza was mediocre as per usual but what really was awful was the customer service. I ordered a single slice of pepperoni and told the owner it was dine-in. When I offered her my credit card, she began complaining to her colleague right in front of my face about how the minimum charge needs to be $ 6 for cards and they should put up a sign. I would have happily ordered more to accommodate their policy except for the fact that she spoke in Italian hoping I wouldn’t understand. To top it off, she packaged my food for take-out as if suggesting I leave. Avoid at all costs if you like fresh, ungreasy pizza and good customer service.

A hole in the wall pizza place that will make NYC style fans very happy. This restaurant is located next to Nickelrama, a small arcade that coincidentally features the areas largest remaining selection of pinball machines. Every time I am around to play pinball, I make sure to stop by Sali’s and order a couple of slices of pizza. Here the slices are NYC style, large, flat, crispy. Like the many stands you will find there, the pizza is half made with base/cheese and awaits your order of toppings for them to finish it off with another round in the oven. The price is low to fair, so you wont break the bank. The old worn décor and stained carpets inside give it a «dive» feel, but they got it where it counts because the pizza slices are bomb. I have never actually sat down and ate in there before, but I guess someday I might. I come for the pizza, and I am never disappointed.

Don’t let the dated inside décor fool you this is a hidden Gem! I have eaten here a few time over the years and it is some of the best Brooklyn style pizza you will find! Simple honest ingredients will people who truly love making pizza from scratch with super fresh ingredients! From the white sauce pizza to the perfect pepperoni crisp crust every time! Prices can not be beat for the quality 13 – 16 for a large 16″!! I recently ordered 4 larges for my sons birthday party and parents and kids alike loved it! Everyone was like where did this come from and ate till food coma kicked in! If you want yummy goodness in your belly you need this in your life!

Gracious service, friendly staff. Pizza is thin crust, and really good. Sausage and Pepper Italian roll is awesome, but can take a while as everything is made form scratch. Reasonably priced beer and wine.

My sister was in Dallas from Ohio, so my kids and I drove from Austin, TX. to see her, Sali’s is next to the Nickel Arcade which we didn’t go to but instead decided to grab pizza. We ordered a large vegi. pizza and a large meat lovers, they were cooked to perfection and delicious! The waiter was amazing and provided great service and brought us some bread to keep my 3 y.o. happy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Went golfing nearby and was incredibly hungry afterwards. A simple search in the Unilocal app brought me here. The pizza was good, but slightly salty for my taste. The cheese and tomato bread is delicious so definitely give that a try. My friend got the meatball sub which was loaded with marinara and meatballs. It’s a quaint little mom and pop shop with good portions and good pricing. I’m sure most everything on the menu would be good.

Whenever I get the chance to be back home — I have to grab myself a slice of Sali’s pizza! I grew up eating here and hanging out with friends when I was in high school and the food is still just as great! This is definitely some great NY style pizza. If you’re on a diet — this may not be the place for you… the pizzas are a little greasy, but hey — there’s a Golds gym around the corner if you feel super guilty!
