Jessica’s Donuts

We love going here, the coffee is great and the donuts are the best we’ve eaten in years. A lot of people compare them to Duck Donuts, we don’t see it. Jessica’s is way better and much more satisfying. Duck Donuts was more like going to a Krispy Crème; a lot of sugar and not much donut.
It’s ironic that they opened almost next door to a 24hr. fitness place. I wonder how many stop in after a work out. I would, love this place.

A viable competitor to Duck Donuts that everyone raves about, and right in our backyard! The apple fritters and sour cream glazed are KILLER!

The donuts were kind of small in comparison to local small business competitors. The apple fritter I ordered was tasty, but slightly undercooked. I had previously read an article that the owner had culinary experience, so I’m a little disappointed to see they’re using a manufactured donut mix in the photos.

On short notice, I needed a large order of custom donuts for a wedding dessert bar, and shop owner was very accommodating. He was more than willing to go the extra mile in making sure that I was a satisfied customer, again on very short notice. My donut tower was a hit, and guests raved about their quality & freshness!

Owner is a sex offender and Unilocal is hiding the review that tells everyone…
Please take a look at the links below. The owner of this business is a convicted sex offender. The owner told the news that he was going to do the books and make donuts in the back. Not having a chance to interact with customers. From reading the reviews on Unilocal he is clearly interacting with customers. Please DON’T support this business. It is not okay that he makes money and the children he abused are scarred for life.

Bigger Donuts OR Lower Prices is what this Place needs!!! While the Glazed Donut was Very Good in Flavor it was too small for a Ninety-​Nine Cents Donut! The Other Donut was Undercooked and the Icing tasted Canned or Very Poor at best!!!
The Guy working the Counter was plenty Friendly and Polite! Nice and Clean Tables and Seating area!
This is the Spot where Daylight Donuts used to be, conveniently or Strategically located a few feet from Planet Fitness! Or Both! Both!

Waaah wah waaaaaahhhhh…
It’s always a bummer when a review update involves a star-​reduction. But my last 2 visits left me no choice.
So let me just sum it up.
1. I ordered the special that day that involved a large 20oz coffee and a specialty donut. The man working the counter (the owner) handed me a 16 oz cup and I didn’t realize the mix-​up until I got home. I NEED my coffee in the morning and those 4 ozs were missed.
2. I’ve noticed the sizes of the donuts have gotten smaller. I am NOT a proponent of super-​sized meals and I think that portion sizes are entirely too large on a whole. BUT, the sizes of the donuts on my last visit were all over the place. There wasn’t a clear consistency. To me that showed a lack of professionalism and craftsmanship.
3. On my last visit which was in the afternoon around 3, the man working at the time was standing by the tables and having a conversation with his friend. That’s cool that your friend is visiting but never sacrifice customer service for the sake of a personal conversation.
Let me be clear in saying that I’ve held 2 food service jobs in my past. My first job ever was at a bakery. The moment that a customer walks through the door they should be your number one priority. They should get eye contact and a verbal greeting. The man working in the morning is great about this, the guy working in the afternoon– not so much.
My suggestion to Jessica’s Donuts is to work on being consistent, specifically with product and customer service.
