Passed this place for years on our way to relatives in Wappingers Falls and kept saying we should try it. We finally did and returned several times. I had no idea that this pizzeria is not associated with the restaurant chain. The pizza is really top notch and tasty. I’ve also had the chicken parmegan wedge and the buffalo wings and none of them disappointed. Their menu is fairly extensive and the owners seem to take a great deal of pride in what they prepare. When in the Garrison area, give them a try. The staff inside is very friendly. Highly recommended. I will definitely return.

We order frequently from Garrison’s Finest Papa Johns(not affiliated with the chain restaurant) The food is always very good. We lived in Brooklyn for years and this pizza is as good as our beloved corner pizza place back in our old neighborhood. We really enjoy everything — their rolls are amazing(try the chicken marsala roll) and their soups are awesome(spicy chicken soup and pasta fagoli are our favorites) We usually do take out(or delivery– THEYDELIVER!!!) but the staff is super nice and we’ve eaten in on occasion(we generally travel with a circus of 3 – 5 little kids, so if they are nice to us, I imagine they must be REALLY nice!) Also, their sauce is *out of this world* I could seriously eat it with a spoon. This place is WAYWAY better than any other pizza you will get in Cold Spring(Angelina’s is not good, sorry, they just aren’t, and Cold Spring Pizza pretty good, definitely better than Angelina’s) Give Papa John’s a try! You will be happy you did!

Food is not bad, service is excellent but for god sake please fix the place up I thought I was going to disappear in the bathroom. The roof is caving in and the derelict mini gold course are something out of a horror movie. This place needs an extreme make over. Much better then Cold Spring Pizza

Not part of the«Papa John» chain, but rather a nice family owned place with pizza, Italian and Mexican dishes. Great food and great service! Prices are very reasonable too! Haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. Even had a seafood special that was amazing.

I’ve never been a «regular» at a restaurant before but I guess you would consider me one here. Once a week my grand daughter and I enjoy lunch here after nursery school. She gets a slice of pizza with sausage, I get white pizza or Margherita. Hers is smothered in sausage, you can not see the cheese beneath. Mine is fresh with high quality ricotta and fresh basil or spinach. Clever and his wife are charming people who serve you at your table and great you when you arrive and send you on your way full and satisfied. We always get cotton candy ice cream or rainbow sherbert too. Besides classic italian items, they also offer some latin items as well. They cater and deliver! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I don’t live around here, and I am seldom passing by at what would be a normal time to stop for some pizza. Whenever I am, though, I do. This is simply one of the very best pizza places I’ve ever been in. I live in Manhattan, and I’ve eaten at lots of places that are touted as «the best,» — often with reason — and this place is as good as ANY of them. The pizza is great, the cheese is fresh, it’s cooked right, it’s served with a smile. Make sure you get garlic knots. They bring them with a little tin of delicious tomato sauce to dip them in. Every place should do that. How come none of the others do? Next time you’re driving on Route 9 through Putnam and get a little hungry, make sure you check these guys out. You’ll be back. Just to be clear, this place has NO association with the horrible«Papa John’s» chain that fires employees for political reasons, would rather employees be sick than charge an extra 10 cents a pie, and apparently has those sick employees handling your food. THIS Papa John’s is a nice place with nice people. This is NOT that horrid hole owned by that dickhead John Schnatter.

Under relatively new management, this somewhat unfortunately located pizza, pasta and Italian ice joint is really surprisingly good. What you are served are good portions of tasty, decently priced, relatively standard Italian fare. The place is kept clean and there’s a cleverly-placed TV to keep you occupied while you’re waiting for, or eating, your food(its volume is kept low). While this place won’t win any Michelin stars, to put it mildly, the guy who runs it seems to take pride in the food he serves. On my visit, I only had two slices of pizza(but overheard customers enjoying their pasta). My favorite, by far, was the tomato with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil offering — next time, I’ll get the whole pie. Yum.
