Me & my boyfriend have a mixed Yorkie about 9 pounds that suffers from anxiety, which we explained to two different people who worked here. To make a appointment was no problem, they understood that our puppy needed some extra love since her anxiety. Plus, it was an extra $ 15 for the extra care, which we had no problem with. I thought this place was able to do the job, since of all the promising reviews, plus with the detailed explanation we gave on our puppy condition, they gave us a clear understanding «not to worry, she’ll have one of our best groomers». The place was nice, clean & had a lot of open space. The staff was welcoming, I had a good feeling about this. The service length was estimated to be 2 hours or so from what they told us. We received a phone call about an hour later, saying the groomer could not finish our puppy. She was able to wash her & cut down the body but the face & paws were still a mess. I’m disappointed overall.

My first time to a self serve dog wash. The worker helped explain the whole process to me. I felt good that I washed my dog versus some stranger. I was able to be gentle and use less blow dryer since she doesn’t like that much. Great economical choice and my dog left smelling nice and looking clean. They even cut her nails for no extra charge.
One thing: I wish the shampoo wasn’t AS diluted. It would be easier and quicker to wash with some more suds.

100% satisfaction, without a doubt. I believe it’s the employees and the atmosphere that put Romeo (my dog) at ease. It’s the first time he has ever walked into a room with a wide variety of dogs, and was calm. I was a bit apprehensive about how Romeo would react to a stranger taking care of him. Mike knew exactly how to handle Romeo, and put him at ease. Especially when it came time to cut his nails. Romeo actually licked Mike, when he was clipping his nails. Romeo is a very large Old American Bull Dog. He’s strong, tall and approximately 90 lbs, so you can get an idea of why I’m so thrilled with In N Out Self Serve Dog Wash. Romeo is too large for me to wash at home, and to have another person do that job, and make Romeo at ease is quite an accomplishment

We used the self-​serve dog wash and while the customer service was good, the experience left something to be desired:
— The automatic soap dispenser didn’t yield many suds (I prefer just a squeeze bottle)
— There was no conditioner
— Towels were available after we asked for them
Normally, these wouldn’t be deal breakers but at nearly $ 25 a visit, I’d expect all of the above plus a tearless face soap, quick-​dry groomer spray, and temperature control of the water.

This is the first time I’ve ever taken my dogs to a self serve dog wash establishment and I really enjoyed it. This place is located on the corner of a busy street– there are a few parking spaces in the back of the building but there are also a ton of free street parking options around the block.
Walking in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the facility itself is very clean. There are 4 self service dog washing stations on the left and grooming is done in the back of the place.
The dog wash station is pretty big and can easily accommodate large dogs. There is a plank the dogs are able to walk up on and go into the tub (my scaredy cat dogs had to be carried of course) and a padded collar attached to the tub to secure your dog in so they don’t jump out.
There is a water hose attached to the tub with 3 different shampoo scents you can choose from. Once you choose your shampoo of choice (we chose cranberry and our pups smelled delicious), just turn on the hose and the shampoo automatically mixes in with the water so all you have to do is spray down your dog and lather. The water was warm but not too hot and had great water pressure. There is no time limit for using the washing stations so I was able to lather and rinse my dogs as many times as I wanted. When you’re done, there are towels readily available and also a high-​velocity dryer to dry your dog with at each station. My one dog (who is scared of life) was absolutely terrified with the dryer, especially since it was super loud and blowing full force air out. I tried to put one of the nozzles at the end of the vacuum dryer but it wouldn’t stay on– needless to stay, I took one of my dogs home half wet because of this. The staff was nice though and offered to give me extra towels to thoroughly dry off my dog with and also offered me one to take home.
I was definitely satisfied with this facility and wouldn’t hesitate to bring my dogs here again if I’m ever back in the area.

I keep coming back for a reason, Crystal does a great job on my dog Sam. I am a spur of the moment type of guy, and don’t like committing to stuff months away (ask my ex wife) but because she is so busy, I have to make appointments two months in advance. I originally wanted to do the self wash, but got lazy and just let her wash and cut Sam. So yes, I will be back in two months. I also bought a three self wash package today, that was on sale. I don’t cut Sam in the winter, so will wash him myself. That’s what I say now, but can change my mind.

Tub was filthy. Soap bottle did not have corresponding # on it so I had to guess which four of the settings to use. No towels provided so I asked for some and they gave me two ratty ones for my 70 lb. Setter. Nozzle on vacuum broke when I turned it on for use. Save your $ 26 and bathe your dog at home.

I have been here a few times and every time I’ve been there the employees were extremely friendly and very clean! There’s never been a wait when I went there are very few self wash places where I live so I’m happy they are close by! My only complaints would be that I have been there twice to have my dogs nails cut and each time they weren’t cut short enough so within a few weeks they had completely grown out. Also price is a bit expensive compared to what I was used to in Atlanta! I have a Yorkie Poo that weighs less than 10 pounds so our washes tend to be very quick!

My dog has passed since my last review but I received a very thoughtful sympathy card. And all the staff signed it. That really shows how much they care.
I will most definitely bring my next dog here if and when I get one :-)

This was a wonderful experience! I have two super small dogs and could not be more pleased with the DIY washing experience I had. From the owner, Mike to one of groomers, Crystal, the people were helpful, gentle and pleasant. The space is bright and clean. I HIGHLY recommend

I’ve only been living in the area for just a year but this place is by far one of the best self service dog wash locations I’ve been to. Friendly staff and you never have to wait on a station to be available.

Great place. Only self serve dog wash in 20 mile radius from New Brunswick! Nice and clean and the staff is amazing. Petey got oatmeal shampoo and super shines berry conditioner which made his coat sparkle! Mike even clipped his nails for him. Thanks mike for all your help. Bring all your muddiest dogs here!!!

This place is the best. I have never written a review before however I thought this place deserved some attention. The owner is what really makes this place fabulous. I brought my dog there the first night we got him (he is a rescue). We had made an appointment but weren’t sure how he would handle a bath. The owner walked us through the entire process and was extremely patient with our pup. We then brought him back to have his nails done, and we had never done that before. The owner was extremely helpful and did it himself. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I wanted to give him a tip, and he wouldn’t take it, he just asked that I spread the word about his business… So hear it is!

Very nice people They are extremely courteous to the humans and very respectful of the dogs. Our first time there we did self service they showed us what exactly what to do. Our dog panics when getting his nails trimmed. They did everything possible to get the job done with consideration for his needs. :-)

Love this place… and so does my dog.
It is what it says. Its set up very nicely for you to walk in the door and wash your dog in a well thought out, clean and comfortable environment. Everything you need is there. including a dryer that is much better than the one I use at home. The station is comfortable and not strain on my back. The people there care about your dog and help you when they see you need it. They work together to make sure everything goes smoothly. The price is reasonable and I avoid clogged hair in my drains at home. We both walk out happy.

I absolutely love this place! At the time I was in there, it was just my daughter, me, and our pup. I told the owner in there that I was more than clueless about how everything worked so he walked us through everything. This was my pup’s first time being taken to a grooming place. She is a very hyper pit bull puppy and was afraid. He even locked the door and let her run around w/​o a leash in there. Anyway, I definitely plan on going back, a lot! LOVE THIS PLACE! PS the owner told me that he just opened up another one at the Westfield Auto Wash. Since it was my first time he made me out a receipt to get a free car wash. I’m not sure if this is still going on but if you check in using your Unilocal account you pup gets a free nail trimming.

I called and was able to get a same day appt, which is rare. The staff were friendly and my dog came out super soft! We just did a bath, teeth brushing, and nails, since she doesn’t have long hair. Parking stinks though so be ready to search.
