Great place to get a quick cone. Friendly folks. Clean bathroom. The location is weird and bad for them as a business — you can’t see the storefront from the road — it is on the back side of a strip mall complex facing the Ashley’s and HH Gregg. I just don’t imagine they get much traffic(foot or car). The place was empty except for me and the tumbleweeds. Same Ben and Jerry’s quality though.

Service was great, clean inside, good ice cream. Great for kids. That’s all you need to know.

Dirty and the attendant was almost non-responsive. After scooping my 6 yr old’s small vanilla with sprinkles she wouldn’t touch it saying it was«dirty». Clumped up sprinkles, chocolate ice cream on the vanilla and nuts sprinkled through. Needless to say we didn’t take it. Then we realize we were double charges! Luckily I caught the attendant as she was leaving for the day. Anyone with nut allergies look carefully! Gross.

I would have given this Ben & Jerry’s 5 stars, but the dining area was dirty and the bathroom was downright nasty. Nothing like sitting down to a dirty table, throwing your trash away in an ice cream covered trash can, and going to the restroom to have your child wash their hands, but deciding it would be more sanitary to just turn around and use napkins. Ice cream was great and the service was great.

Ice cream is great, BUT remember, Ben and Jerry Corporate is a HUGE Obama supporter and campaign contributor. Put your money where your mouth is!

Welcome to Gastonia! What does cinnamon ice cream taste like mixed with my personal fav — Phish Food? You won’t know until you go now will you. I splurged. I’m so ashamed considering we just chowed down on some yummy Thai food at the Thai House next door. There’s nothing better than to cool the heat of Thai food with some ice cream. I went after the brownie fudge sundae. Holy crap I needed a wheel barrow. It’s sad that the restaurant next door(Flip-Flops) is there. Seating is limited inside the B&J. We wanted to take it outside. The outside seating was all monopolized by people from the restaurant even though the restaurant has its own dedicated seating area surrounded by a fence. Loud and obnoxious bar people smoking outside don’t mix with family ice cream night if you ask me. Oh well. Go. enjoy. bring a wheel barrow.

Decided to stray from the standard cup and got a brownie sundae. Poor decision. Ice cream was good of course, but the brownie and toppings didn’t do anything for me except increase the cost. Brownie wasn’t warmed up or anything, just taken from the brownie pile that has been there God knows how long. Miss scooper did her job and was patient with the time it took our group to decide on what we were ordering. i was just bummed that my pile of chocolate didn’t turn out as good as i hoped. You would think chocolate therapy on a fudge brownie with hot fudge, reeses pieces and dark chocolate peace signs would be excellent, but no it was slighty below average. Next time just ice cream for me. 2 stars for my overall food selection, but a ben and jerry’s minimum of 3 stars for the fact that the ice cream part was good and this location doesn’t deserve a lower score for one bad selection.
