Incredibly clean and very cozy. The best value for staying in town — admit it, you came to this area to explore/shop/hike/eat, not to stay in the room all day. Short walking distance to the center of Gatlinburg, just up the street from The Village(with all of its cute shops as well as the Donut Friar), the Ripley Aquarium and the Mountain Mall. Fresh linens and towels. Décor is fitting for the area. Nice pool for a relaxing dip after exploring the park or walking the town. A perfect place to have a breakfast of Donut Friar(less than 10 minute walk) treats while listening to the babbling creek. My parents always stay here during their annual visit. This is the perfect nostalgic motel!

Update… Back again and nothing has changed which is what I love about this place. Yes it is old but it has to be the cleanest motel in the area. It a real time capsule. You feel like you are back in 1964. You do however have a microwave, flat screen TV. And small fridge. You. Can’t beat the price either. Friendly staff and owner.

My family has been staying here for years! And we keep coming back. The rooms are small, but very clean. There are no frills, but it is a really quaint motel. There are only less than 20 rooms, but it is really reasonably priced, and they do not raise their rates during the busy season.
