I think Gymboree makes adorable kids’ clothing, and would shop here more if not for three things: 1) The clothing never really seems to be on sale, and without sale prices, it’s a bit steep, especially when compared to The Children’s Place six doors down 2) When clothing is on sale, the selection is usually limited to one or two circular racks, which isn’t terribly impressive 3) The staff here is very friendly, but a bit overeager. I just want to browse — I’m not looking for anything in particular, and I don’t really want to listen to a sales pitch That being said, the store is always very neat and organized, which I appreciate, and the floors are always clean and kept free from debris. I find there is rarely another customer in the shop whenever I visit, so I’m not dodging other people or waiting impatiently for someone to move. On the other hand, the lack of customers leads the salespeople to focus even more on your every move, which I find quite annoying.
