Great store! Was there a year ago and looked for it again and I bought two pairs and my friend bought three pairs. Mostly European sizing and incredibly comfortable as well as colorful and stylish. I will definitely come back. Loved the little Norwegian owner! And excellent sales!

The gentleman working here may be a character, but characters can be interesting, particularly when they have lived long lives and have stories to tell. Just ask him about his fishing. Anyway, the shoes appear to be of good quality. I bought a pair of sandals(Privo) that I love and saw today in DSW for the same price of $ 70; so at least in my case the shoes here were not overpriced. I received some suggestions while I was looking, and they were not my style, but I understand the need to promote one’s business by prompting the customer to consider items. It’s a hard economy. I liked this store and would visit again when in the area.

I was shocked at how rudely I was treated by the owner of this store. I was in the market for a pair of sporty sandal shoes for around $ 75. He kept showing me shoes that were not what I was looking for, and over $ 130. When I said I was looking to spend a little less, he said(very nastily) «if you want cheap shoes, then maybe you should go shop at Walmart or Payless». I walked out & will never go there again. Besides that, there is a terrible selection, and everything is overpriced. If you want to patronize a wonderful local shoe store, just 2 blocks away is Giesche Shoes. They are the polar opposite of Tender Footsie.
