Current battery in my 5c is not secured so you can feel it moving when phone is shaken. Scott was very helpful and informative. Gave me options and didnt force me to buy anything. He even offered to just place an adhesive and test out the battery first (newly purchased — used). Since their price was very reasonable, I asked him to just replace it. I was out in 10 minutes. Very happy and will be coming back for future repairs.

My iphone 5s fingerprint scanner stopped working after the screen repair. I brought it back to iLabs again and he told me that this happened to his sons phone after he «fixed» the screen. He said it’s a software issue and he is not a software guy. After going home and doing some googling, I found this.
«TouchID can only work with original Fingerprintsensor-​circuit, it is tethered to the A7-​processor. If you change the homebutton inclusiv flexcable, the TouchID cannot work anymore.
The encrypted information can only be accessed by 1 original (binded) chip which can communicate with the A7 processor, it should be soldered right on the flexcable,»
Probably something he should know. Now I have a $ 500 5S with my favorite feature not working. Go to the Apple store instead.
**UPDATE** The following morning I received a call from the proprietor admitting his mistake and offering to buy me a replacement phone. My faith in iLabs has been restored and their stars have jumped to five. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes are made. I am impressed when mistakes are admitted and reparations are made. It doesn’t happen that often these days.

I had my iPhone 5 fixed here a few months ago. Just came back to have my iPad & also an iPhone 4s repaired.
Both times it was done within 24 hours. Done well & with great service.
Also, I purchased a really cool phone case for the 4s. (Which is an inactive phone for my active 5 year old son to play on.) It’s screwed onto the phone and I’m pretty sure could double as an item for self defense if need be. It’s solid! My husband is jealous, wants one for himself now. This case looks like it’d stomp an Otter Box in a wrestling match and was probably ½ the price!

These guys were really nice, which is why I left 3 stars instead of 2, bc I love good customer service, but the quality of the repair on my iPhone 5s was less than desirable. After the repair, I asked the gentleman if my glass was thicker and he told me it was not, but I KNEW it was. I trusted him, but long story short, I shattered my screen again (like 5 days later, I know, wa wa waaaaa), and the new repair person ($ 25 cheaper btw) told me the glass was thicker, and now that I have another new glass, I can feel the home button again without feeling like I’m going to slice my finger! The second repair place also replaced an item for the proximity sensor that these guys left out. Bummer, I liked the guys a lot, and I had hoped they would do a great job.

I needed a new screen on my iPhone 5s. They were quick to get me in, took about 15 minutes to fix, and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

I labs was a mixed bag on service. The rates where reasonable. And the turn around time was good. But quality control was lackluster. I came in for a new screen and home button on an iPhone 4. When I got the phone back the new screen was pressing the home button this should have been noticed before I got the phone back. While they fixed that they did not attach a cable correctly so I got it home and had no service.
After 3 trips They made everything right so they get four stars but check the work and test functionality before you drive off.

I needed to get my recharger replaced in my iPhone 5 and sure didn’t want to drive to the Domain. I’m thrilled that I found iLabs using Unilocal.Scott was great and set me right!

Great service. I drove from Austin to here just cause of the reviews. Needed iPhone 4 front and back glass replaced and phone unlocked. Brent did great work and was very nice. Took about 25 mins. Then emailed me 2 hours later when the unlock was done. And I checked my phone and it was unlocked. Also let me trade in a couple of old iPhones. Highly recommend this place. Already told my friend who also needs help.

Thank goodness for iLabs! I definitely hold the record for most dropped and cracked iphones! After cracking my phone for the millionth time I contacted Brent and he had it fixed that day within 20 minutes for a great price! Unfortunately, I dropped it again that very next week, this time causing more damage than just a crack! I ended up getting an upgrade to the iPhone 5 and Brent offered me cash for the broken one! I appreciate Brent’s friendliness, honesty, and efficient work! I highly recommend ILabs!

My iphone microphone pooped out on me a while back. I couldn’t be heard when on a call. Very Annoying! I contacted another place in Georgetown that claimed to do iphone repairs; but in fact, only wanted to fix screens. I was told I might as well just get a new phone. No thank you! I found ilabs and checked out their website. I love that they show you how much it’s going to cost for each different repair on their site. I walked in knowing it would only cost $ 40 to fix my mic. Transparent pricing. About time!!!
My experience was great! They’re located inside of the Co-​op just off the square. I stopped by and was able to talk to the owner/​tech right away. I was just planning on dropping it off and having to wait a few hours so I went down the street to grab a bite to eat. 25 minutes later I got a call on my business phone. It was my iphone #. The owner was calling me from my phone to let me know it was fixed and ready to be picked up. SUPER FAST!!! And the phone sounded perfect.
I stopped to pick up my phone and sure enough, no hidden costs. $ 40 to fix the phone. No BS. No upsale. Just excellent service and quality work. I was told to contact them if I had any issues and they would make it right, and I believe them.
This is one small business in Georgetown that you need to support. Great prices. Fast service. Highly recommended!!!
