I’ve never had my car serviced here, but the car wash is awesome. They give the tire acid spray to break down the wheel grime (they could easily charge for that as part of the tire package) and always pre-​scrub the car to ensure the car gets cleaned low and in the middle front and back. If you’re unhappy they take you through again, no questions asked. And they wipe down well after. Not bad for a $ 7 basic wash with a real drive-​through (ie not laser wash)

The place is under new management and is trying to do a good job. The bad eggs are no longer working for this establishment. We had an issue but the manager was helpful in sorting out an overcharge. Give them a chance.

Never ever again. Poor customer service. Desk receptionist obviously hates her job and isn’t scared to show attitude.
Prices are out of this world. GM service for synthetic blend on my SUV is less than $ 40 and that includes an exterior wash. This place was $ 80 on my V-​6 SUV and the car wash afterward was an extra $ 5. Piss poor service plus astronomical prices will ensure I never return.
As for the car wash, I was previously signed up for the monthly pass. I asked to cancel the pass on both of my cars in January and provided both license plate numbers to the employee. I was told the passes were cancelled. It is now March and I just noticed they are still charging me for one car. I will be asking for a refund and will repost with results.

KK had my previous review removed by Unilocal — it didn’t fit their criteria because «it wasn’t descriptive enough».

In July of last year, my 75 year old father in law from Des Moines visited us. While here, he took his 2010 silver TOYOTA Camry in for a routine oil change. He was quoted the standard price and agreed on this. When his car was finished, he was surprised to find several additional items and service procedures had been done WITHOUT any discussion or approval. When he contested the price, he was pressured to pay «since we’ve done the work». He refused and KK reinstalled any changed filters.
I learned of this months later when I mentioned to my father in law the poor service I received for an oil change.
I had the oil changed in my 2014 Audi Q5. The KK employee made no suggestions as to what oil change was needed or best. Afterwards, My car smoked continuously and appeared to leak oil. I returned to KK and a very nice employee, Leon I believe, took it into the bay. He cleaned the spilled oil and assured me it wasn’t leaking and instead it was due to the filter position from Audi. I tipped him $ 10.
Within a month, the warning light appeared for Low Oil Level. I’ve driven plenty of cars in my life and I’ve never experienced this. I returned to KK and the same employee who had no suggestion or recommendation earlier said, «Of course it’s low, you have a turbo and it burned off». I agreed to the higher dollar and needed service. After the oil change I asked why there wasn’t any recommendation earlier. I received a shoulder shrug reply.
This is a descriptive and true story. I’ll repost as many times as KK removes. I suggest that KK focus on better service and not deleting negative reviews.

Went in today for an oil change. I’ve been a monthly car wash member here for several months. I chose a synthetic blend for my camry’s oil change. I selected this option off of a print selection choice — priced around $ 55. I wasn’t aware that this was over priced at the time. When I paid the bill — it was almost $ 80. All kinds of labor and little charges added on.
I guess they didn’t know that my husband is a fraud prosecutor & what they are doing looks a lot like bait and switch. I have a picture of the paper that had the options and pricing listed … In the mean time I won’t be back & I’ll share my experience with the world. I may be blonde, but I’m not quite as dumb as I look. I do NOT appreciate being taken advantage of.

I visited this location to try out their quick car wash service. My car looked great and it only took about 5 minutes. The employees were super friendly and made great recommendations to me for my first visit. I also enjoyed the ability to vacuum my own car without the fear of someone else getting in my car. On my next visit I will be signing up for the monthly unlimited pass. Highly recommend!

I’m updating with an added star strictly due to the fact that the GM tried contacting me to make it right. Although he won’t give me a partial refund, as requested, he did offer another oil change and 2 free car washes. I appreciate that he reached out and seemed to care. However, I won’t be going back to them again, even if it’s free. Charging over $ 30 for an air filter and giving such awful service worries me. Maybe your visit will be better than mine. At least the GM seems to care about the customers… And maybe my visit was just a fluke ??

Here I was about to rate this business with one star but if you look at the other reviews most have beaten me to it. I have had four cars serviced here over time but I now ask that they delete me from their system as I will never set foot in this operation again. Not a threat. A promise. I feel my wife in having a simple oil change today was blatantly taken advantage of. Later in the day I spoke with the manager and no concessions were made. He said he reviewed the records of my four vehicles and only showed inspections. That’s nonsense. When both Midas and Lamb’s offered oil changes @ 19.99 for the same vehicle — my wife was handed a bill for $ 49.
Pros: a free car wash with service.
Cons: not customer focused
Questionable service even on cars previously brought in
Certainly overpriced.
Looks to me as if the cons well outweigh the one pro.
A case, I know, of buyer beware. But my advice is to Beware! Never again.

Brought my rarely-​driven sports car in for a State Inspection. Upon completion I noticed a deep, 1-​in long scratch next to the driver’s door. I brought it up to the manager’s attention who reviewed the garage video but did not allow me to view it nor provided me the digital copy he agreed to send me. The manager was quick to disclaim any responsibility and suggested I was attempting to scam him. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCOUNTABLE. Proceed at your own risk.

I used to like coming here. Now the car wash is separate and they charged me extra for the ‘special oil filter’ which is bogus as I’ve never heard of this from all the cars I’ve owned. This was just a pontiac vibe! I think this place is taking advantage of its customers so my family (with 5 cars) will be going someplace else from now on. Sorry that $ 4 filter charge just lost you a repeat customer with five cars.

Kwik Kar/​Soapy Falls has lost its attraction. The sales approach is unlimited car washes for $ 15/​month. Unfortunately, it’s no more than a Laser wash drive through. The wash itself is mediocre at best and leaves all sorts of residue and dirt on the vehicle. The individual who dries the car does another mediocre job and there is water spots all over when done and again dirt visible on quarter panels, bumpers, license plates and wheels (yes, I upgraded to have wheels and tires done). Then if you want your vehicle vacuumed, that is an upgrade or you are welcome to do it yourself. Kind of defeats the purpose of a «Full Service» car wash. If you want to do it yourself there is a spray wash down the street or you can do it in your driveway. Poor service and not worth the money.

I was driving down to San Antonio and realized I needed an oil change in a bad way. I usually go to the Kwik Kar over by my house, but it slipped my mind before I left. The lobby is pretty big and comfy with lots of room to stretch out in. The people were super nice and friendly. The free WiFi was down when I was there, but that’s not the end of the world. You have to fill out a form and tell them what you want done and then they take the form and start to work on your car. When they were done and I was paying for it, I showed the girl behind the counter the Kwik Kar app on my phone to «punch» the digital punch card (half price oil change with the 10^th oil change) and she didn’t know what it was, so that was weird. I mean, it’s their own app and they had never seen it before. They did good work, but it was strange that they didn’t know anything about their own phone app.

Got my oil changed here then took my car to another place because it was closer to my work. The other place told me that the last place I got my oil changed messed up my drain plug. Called and kwi kar had my car towed back to fix. When it got there it became obvious that the shop it came from messed it up. These guys fixed it anyhow and got me back on the road. I went back to the shop that messed it up and they then admitted that there kid messed it up and reimbursed the cost for towing and are paying to have the dealership replace the oil pan. These guys went above and beyond to fix a problem that wasn’t even theres. Will become my goto place.

Wishing NO stars was an option.
So…i quit going here a while back because i got sick of them trying to up-​sell me every flipping time i went for an oil change.
My friend was in from out of town and wanted oil change AND car wash, so i thought, «we’ll give this place another try.» Bad decision.
They have changed their format up and now the car wash and oil change ctr. are separate, so if you are wanting both, you must go to TWO different places and pay TWO different places. IT’S ALL ONE FRIGGIN’ PLACE! The absolute dumbest concept. It puts all the work on the customer, and is not any cheaper. Why would anyone be a fan of that?!
I tried to make the manager their understand my frustration in a civil manner, but he was not tryin’ to hear it. He defended the change. Good for you, idiot. Hope it works out for ya. Cuz i am DONE and DONE! i think i’ll share this Unilocal review everyday for the next month or so, just to remind people NOT to go here.

I drove in for an oil change. The attendant who greeted me was very nice. However, I drive a Prius and the first thing he said was, «I think these cars take synthetic oil.» He said it would be $ 72 for synthetic oil. I’ve owned the car 6 years and have never paid more than $ 30 for an oil change and told him so. He yelled into his pal in the garage and asked about ½ regular and ½ synthetic for my car. The guy said it would be fine. $ 54. I went in to wait and quickly checked my Ipad «oil requirement for Prius» and learned the kind of oil needed for the Prius is printed on the oil cap. I walked back into the garage and ask the guy to show me the oil cap. The cap says «5W30». Regular oil. The oil change was done in 10 minutes, but at $ 39 it’s still more expensive than other places. I won’t be back to a place that tried to rip me off.

I came in at about 10 am and it’s 3 pm now and still my car is not done. They had to get a part from somewhere to fix a belt for my inspection but they initially said 1.5 hours and it’s well over that time. They did apologize and upgraded my carwash for free. As of right now, I’m still waiting for my car and told them to rain check my car wash. They were nice and letting me know what was going on, but something went wrong and made time go way over.

Last time I needed an oil change I took my car to kwik kar on Williams Drive. The facts are and the questions I have follow:
1. I had checked my fluids. I noticed that my year old car was a little low on power steering fluid.
2. I paid for a synthetic oil change which included checking fluids and 20 or so other items. The ad flyer said they check and top off power steering fluid.
3. They told me everything was ok and gave a checklist showing they checked al the items promised.
I checked the power steering fluid at home and it was not refilled.
4. I wrote email to tell the owner that.
5. He said they do not top off ps fluid! He wanted me to go back and have his head mechanic check the power steering. He offered no apology or explanation for not checking the fluid and reporting to me that all was ok, not even that an employee screwed up. I took that to mean they do it all the time.
I rewrote. He said they follow the guidelines of an organization that stops them from top off. I checked with that org and that was not true and he was not a member!
The place «fixed» their problem now by taking off the ad that they top of the ps. But, they raised the price for this lesser service. They still say a check things including cabin filter. That takes time and I doubt that is done regularly.
Questions I have: if they lie about checking and or topping off, how do I know if the rest of what I paid for was done? I paid a lot for synthetic oil, did I get that? What else did they not do. The other reviews here scare me. I feel they treated me as a senior target because I live in Sun City area. Where come from they would be prosecuted by the county attorney for doing this stuff.
If I am being to harsh, let me know.

We took our Camry here for an oil change. We could not figure out why there was oil leaking on our garage floor. My husband got under the car and discovered that they had neglected to tighten the oil filter. That error could have blown the engine if the oil filter would have fallen off.
Can you say mechanics 101?

I agree with all the other reviews… Went for a car wash. Had a coupon fresh off the HEB receipt and the rude guy ‘trying’ to run the carwash lanes said the coupon would not work for my car. It was for $ 9.99. I drive a mid size Range Rover Sport, I asked how much more it would be… $ 19.99
Okay forget it, I will just go thru the 5 minute Express Lane.
I was told that would take over an hour… Nobody was in front of me.
I asked why it says 5 minutes. He rudely replied «that’s how long it takes when you get in the wash»
Well what the heck is going to take 55 more minutes!!!
I drive away and will not be back… Seriously. Hire some decent employees…
This is actually my second time attempting to wash my wheels here… The first time I was told they were about to close…
I drove to Cedar Park and went to Mister Car Wash on Bell… They don’t mess around… In and out and those guys/​gals work their asses off!
