History

Established in 2009.

When two friends decided Georgetown needed a place to go for affordable skincare and laser hair removal, Laser Lounge Med Spa was born. Mary, an aesthetician, wanted to start the business to help people due to her own struggles with cystic acne. Kathi had an established nail clientele and an excellent reputation. They both worked together for a spa in Austin performing laser hair removal. The two then became laser certified and were soon in business.

I was born in raised in Austin, Texas, a place I am proud to call my home. I received my Interior Design degree from Texas State University and worked in the design field for 6 years. After the birth of my first son I began to struggle with cystic acne, just like I had as a teenager. I met an aesthetician and received regular treatments from her and began to see an amazing transformation in my skin. I decided that I too wanted to help people who were struggling with skin problems. I graduated from Baldwin Beauty School in Austin and had the privilege of working under Ann Webb before going off and starting my own business. I absolutely love my job! I feel so lucky to have met the clients I have and the wonderful relationships I have formed with them.
