History

Established in 1927.

Mickan Motor Company is proud to be a third generation family-​owned business. Daniel Mickan founded Mickan Motor Company in Walburg, Texas in 1927. In 1961, his eldest son, Ray Mickan took over the establishment. He and his wife Ethel continued operation and ownership until his youngest son Danny Mickan assumed ownership in January 2000.

Danny was born and raised in Walburg, Texas. He spent most of his life in the Georgetown area and his entire life around cars. Before Danny assumed ownership of the Mickan Motor Company, he watched and helped his father, Ray, run the shop for many years. He knows just about everything there is to know about cars, and he will provide you with trustworthy, reliable service.
