They always do an amazing job on my nails and Britney always does an amazing job on my eyebrows! This is the only place I get my nails and brows done

I have been here twice and I highly recommend it. The service is excellent. I have had two spa pedicures. Not only are they reasonably priced at $ 23 but also they massage for a long time and take good care of you. Go here!

Worst nail salon in Georgetown that I have been to! Pedi and mani with gel nails. First the chair for the pedi that I was seated in was broken. The massage kept getting stuck and stopping in the middle of my back. Although the massaging of the legs was nice, there was no care taken to the bottom of my feet and with 2 days the toe nail polish chopped off. While sitting in the pedi chair they began the process of removing my already gel nails(this was horrible– the amount of scraping was ridiculous) my nails were filed down to almost paper and then painted with the gel nail polish. I was not happy with the painting or the filing job. I voiced my opinion and was told it’s ok you go home and wash your hands it will be okay tomorrow. No that was not okay. On top of the horrible job. They charge $ 40 for their cheapest pedi and the cost of the gel nails was $ 36. Ridiculous!!! First and last visit. Within the first week my nails were peeling typically gel nails last me 2 – 3 weeks.

I cannot express how bad of an experience I’ve had at this place. it starts off with horrible service, I had one lady start on my nails, but then she passed me off to another lady that finished me off. the problem was the second lady repeated all of the things the first lady did such as filling and such, which made my nails super brittle. then the actual nail job was horrible, I had a simple french tip acrylic manicure which was completely bubbly and the nail lengths were all different sizes after I repeatedly told her that she needed to get them all the same size. not to mention that they don’t care about quality ATALL, they tried to rush me out of there and it was a horrible job. what makes it worse is that I was here for my sisters birthday and her nails turned out 10x worse… she had a a regular french tip done, but they were the worst french tips I have ever seen in my life!!! a monkey could’ve done a better job, they chipped within a day, and the lines of her french tips were so horrible. I honestly would love to see their certificates to see if they’re actually certified to be nail technicians because I don’t believe it for a second. this was a complete waste of money and ruined my sisters day, it’s honestly did, she was so disappointed because she was very much looking forward to pampering herself and it was a COMPLETEWASTEOFMONEY. I will never step foot in that place ever again. I hope you will not make the same mistake that I did. I cannot express how morbidly disappointed I am. this review seems very harsh, but this place should no longer be in business.

Went in to get my acrilycs removed & a polish change done. Not only did she injure me at least three times during the removal, but the finished product was not pretty :/pretty cheap($ 13), but I’m just going to have to re-do them

Busy, but I made an appointment. Was shocked to discover that my gel nail pedi was treated/charged as 2 separate transactions. One gal did the pedi which I was charged $ 23 and the 2nd gal did the gel nail application and I was charged $ 27. I’ve never had a nail place do that. I don’t mind paying extra for gel nails but– $ 50 for a mediocre pedi & gel nails seems like a rip off.

I used to go here all the time. But lately… They have gone down. Way too busy or something. I always make appointments but it still seems like they are rushing trying to get me out of the door. A couple days ago was the last straw. I brought my friend in for some pedicures. My nails were bad. But hers… Were terrible!!! All bubbly and super messy. We sat under the uv dryers for a good 20 minutes and her nails still hadn’t dried. Sloppy work. Totally not worth it.

I love it here! I have been going for years. Everyone knows me by name and I have never had any trouble. Love it. They always make sure I am comfortable and happy. They do get busy sometimes but I have never had to wait long. I assume because they are awesome is why they are busy. I would never go anywhere else.

I have been going to the Palace Nails and Spa for several years, but they have gotten sloppy lately. The last two times I have gone in — once for a pedicure and then the last time for a gel manicure, I have been injured. They scrubbed my left foot so long and so hard that it was bleeding at the end of my pedicure. They pretended not to notice — painted my toenails very quickly, and then the technician went to the back. I had a scab there for weeks. But I thought I would try one more time… went in for the gel manicure, and a different technician cut one of my fingers as she was snipping the nail. And since she had used something that I did not see her sterilize before hand, I worried about infection. I am not one to make a scene, so I just left swearing never to return. It is a shame — they used to do a good job. They have good prices, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Been coming here 6 years now. Always get great service. I now live in Austin and still drive all the way to Georgetown to get my nails done because no other place does such a good job. I also brought my bridal party here March 2013 to get everyone mani/pedis. My nails and toes were flawless. My shellac manicures ALWAYS last 2 weeks and sometimes 3 weeks. I always get the regular pedicure and it lasts 3 weeks, sometimes longer if you don’t swim/hot tub. I have not found ANYWHERE in Austin that shellac lasts as long so its worth the drive up there. Just FYI on that bad review… The prices are standard(what every salon charges) and they don’t constantly ask you for upgrades like deluxe/flower/etc. which is so nice. You can actually relax. I usually read a book and enjoy the massage chair. Also they DO clean their instruments so whoever wrote that negative review is mistaken. I have been here over 30 times and have watched them clean the pedicure bowls and and all the little tool things go into that blue sterilizer fluid. I only updated my review because this really is such a good nail salon and Georgetown is lucky to have them! I wish they would open a 2nd location in NW Austin.

Very friendly, but instruments are not sterilized, messy application of nail polish and the worst… they cut me! Stay away!!! There are too many nail salons in Georgetown to risk infection at Palace Nails & Spa!

They don’t have many colors of powder for acrylic nails. I chose a fuchsia and silver glitter. The guy who did my nails did alright until near the end when he cut my finger. That was a first. Kinda pricey as well, wouldn’t recommend…

Love Palace Nails. Lynda, Tina and Holly all do a great job. Stephanie, too — gives a great calf massage! Reasonable prices. No constant«upselling.» Good hours and clean. Suggest making an appointment — it’s a popular, busy place.
