Joe Palma A.

Business Owner

Meet Joe Palma and Tina Folts — a local father and daughter team and owners of Primrose School of Georgetown. Like many Primrose School owners, these Austin natives have a rich history of positively shaping young minds. Joe and Tina are not only parents themselves, but Tina has a long and storied background centered in early childhood education. Tina, the mother of an 18-​month-​old daughter, has more than eight years of experience teaching youngsters throughout the greater Austin area. She also operated a home daycare business for several years. Joe, a longtime planner for Freescale Semiconductor, will focus his efforts on the business side of the operation — managing the school’s finances, human resources, etc. «We understand the multitude of factors that are considered when weighing the different childcare options for your children. We’ve been there ourselves,» said Tina. «We look forward to providing a nurturing environment for area children and watching them grow intellectually.»
