Tail Waggins Dog Bakery

I can’t say enough good things about Tail Waggins, I am so happy we found this place and will definitely be back!
We recently moved to georgetown from Austin and have been looking for a good dog bakery, because we’re those pet parents, and we also love supporting local businesses! This bakery and store has so much more to offer than just freshly baked treats and cakes! They had lots of great options of different brands of food, toys, leashes, collars, you name it, and all at a very decent price. I came in expecting higher prices (think tomlinsons) but I was blown away at their affordability.
We bought our schnauzer, Floyd, a sweet potato cake for his first birthday this weekend and he and our border collie destroyed it! There was literally nothing left, which never happens with anything I buy them. So you know it was good! We will be back later in the week for another cake for Watson, the border collie.
If you’re looking for a great local business to buy anything related for your furkids, definitely stop in! They’re a very short drive off of 35, practically right off the highway.

This is the best place in Georgetown for anything that you would need for your pet! I just bought my dog a birthday cake here! The staff is amazing. They make my day:) you can get anything from dog birthday supplies to raw food! I will always be a loyal customer!

World class customer service! This was my first time to purchase a dog cake. My cookie turned five and let me tell you he absolutely loved it! What great products and fantastic service. I’m so very satisfied!

Great dog and cat food store. I stopped in with Picky Poodle. We were traveling and he decided he didn’t want to eat anything I brought with us. The people who work here are really nice and know all about pet food. I found some good quality food, and they gave us free samples too. Good food is important to keep your pet healthy, and this store has a lot of good food.

We had a rough morning today. Harley our dog got out of the yard and took a trip to the pound and we wanted to find a self service wash tub for him to clean him up. After already paying puppy bail we didn’t want to spend a ton of money on grooming services and Tail Waggin was referred to us by the pound. The staff was was friendly, knowledgable and extremely helpful! They even made sure the water temperature was just right for him! Thanks Tail Waggins, you have a customer for life!

We found out about this place a couple years ago because they had a booth at Market Days on the Square. My mom was like, «We HAVE to check it out!» So every time my mother visits from the coast we hike up to Georgetown to go to the Escape and Tail Waggins. She stocks up on baked goods for her evil Shih Tzu. Me and my partner get raw beef knuckles for our Great Danes and pick up a Tuffy brand toy. We have also taken my cousin there where she got a really cool St. Francis of Assisi medal for her less evil Shih Tzu. They are kind of out of the way, but make the hike up business 35/​Austin Ave to check it out when you are next in Georgetown.

GREAT place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who will remember you. They’ll special order foods for you. Wonderful selection of ONLY quality and healthy foods for dogs (and cats). I’ve been going there for years for dog and cat food and enjoy every visit. I haven’t tried — and more to the point, my animals haven’t tried — the custom baked goods; they’re spoiled enough already.
Worth a drive if need be; this is a great pet specialty store. While they have tons of food — and only GOOD stuff — they also have quite a nice assortment of accessories — bowls, leashes, toys, etc. Top marks!
