Tip Tow

I have been doing business with TIP TOW for years and they have never let me down.
Trey is a gentleman and takes pride in his work.
He has a great bunch of guys working for him.
There are some days i need him early hours of the morning and without hesitation he takes care of the job with no problem.
i will continue to use TIP TOW for all my transport needs.

They arrived quickly, the driver was professional and knowledgeable.
He knew where to find the tow thing in the trunk, put it on quickly, took pics of the car (which I appreciated), shook my hand and assured me he would get it to the dealership well.
Thanks, George, for being professional and courteous. When I complimented him, he said «Ya gotta know what you do!» Ahh, the world needs more Georges.

My car broke down as I was driving from San Antonio back home to Dallas. I called AAA and they connected me with Josh at Tip Tow. I cannot say enough about how gracious Josh was throughout the entire thing. He went above and beyond and I am forever grateful. He and his boss, Trey, made sure I was not left stranded in the middle of nowhere. They took excellent care of me and I am beyond thankful for everything they did to help me out.

My car broke down in Georgetown and I had the pleasure of meeting Cedric Adams who towed my car over 20 miles to the shop. He was the kindest man and I enjoyed riding with him!

used tip tow twice. picked me up from home and dropped me back home at no extra charge. no problems. they were available both times so there was no waiting. they answer their phone every time unlike other services. reasonable fees. will use them again if i ever need a tow.

Cleaning out my desk and found a business card from Tip Tow… which I had the unfortunate pleasure of encountering a few months back. The card brought back bad memories! If there was a 0 star option, I’d throw it towards «Trey» and his crack squad of incompetent workers.
Story: My car broke down around 10pm on a Tuesday night (not busy) less than a mile from their shop on hwy 35. I called into Jeep who put me in touch with these jokers. 2.5 HOURS later their driver figured out where I was. 4 phone calls. I’m very patient, but wow. I could’ve pushed my car there faster… probably should have… or just pushed it all the way back to Austin as that wouldve saved time and frustration.
So they put my car on the tow and drive me to the shop. As we’re pulling in, the dude driving tells me to get my stuff out of the Jeep… so I hop up there and do so, only to have «Trey» come out of the building screaming at the top of his lungs to «get the F down from the car» and how if I got hurt I could sue him. Fine… relax bro.
Then I find out they can’t tow me to my house, about 20 miles away… totally fine. However, my work associate had a car parked less than 2 miles away… but they still wouldnt give me a ride as that’s against company policy. So I call a cab and 30 min later it arrives.
As I am getting in the taxi for my 2 mile jaunt ($ 20) «Trey» looks me in the eyes and asks if I could recommend his shop to my friends. Are you kidding me? THEN he asks the cab driver to take people to Tip Tow when they break down… Unreal. Trey sucks. His shop sucks. His employees suck.
Net net: Avoid this place at all costs.

I had to call AAA to come tow my truck. They sent T.I.P. Towing and the service was great. The driver was very helpful and was quick with service. If the need arises again, I would not hesitate to call them directly.

Car was picked up and stored over the weekend in their facility before being towed 90 miles on a flatbed. They delivered it with a big crack in the windshield and a refusal to take care of it.
Definitely avoid if you can.

These guys recently helped me change a flat I got while driving through Georgetown on a business trip.
Single female in the dark on the side of I-​35, they were a welcome sight.
The gentleman that helped me was so nice, helpful, told funny stories about some of the crazy stuff that comes with the job.
