We specialize in sprinkler repair, irrigation maintenance and Outdoor LED lighting in Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park and Leander. We are licensed in backflow inspection, cerification and repair. Our sprinkler repair services cover a very broad scope from sprinkler heads, sprinkler controllers to sprinkler valve issues for both residential and commercial.

We also provide outdoor low voltage lighting design and installation. At Top Notch, we take your outdoor lighting ideas and turn them into a visual reality. Your new yard will be beautiful as well as functional. We have the expertise to provide you with numerous choices and options. In Georgetown and Round Rock, we have installed landscape lighting to make lawns and entire yards look spectacular. Our LED solutions are a combination of art and function. History

Established in 2005.

Although Top Notch Irrigation has a great team, James Wood founded the company in 2005 and has built the Top Notch team to live up to the company’s name. James has resided in the Georgetown/​Round Rock area for over 30 years. He worked as a process Engineer for DuPont Photomask for more than 22 years, where he learned state-​of-​the-​art troubleshooting techniques. He and his team use those same techniques to provide a higher level of service in irrigation repair. James was licensed in irrigation in 2005 and established Top Notch Irrigation that same year. While serving his first several clients, he realized the need for a company that could provide a higher level of quality for irrigation repair services. This is when James decided to dedicate all of his time and attention to building a quality irrigation repair company

Had our first visit from Top Notch this AM. James was very kind & professional. He spent at least 1 hr & got our very large system working as it should. James did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I really appreciate James honesty. I highly reccomend Top Notch as a top notch repair company.

They did a great job for us. We had a different company come in first and they said and I quote were «perplexed» and James had it figured out in minutes and he was cheaper… much cheaper, the other company wanted us to pay $ 400 to replace a valve that was not even broken. Very polite, great work, I highly recommend them!

I called Top-​notch because one of the zones would not stop watering. Owner James returned my call promptly and arrived on time. Instead of charging me a new valve, he charged me the service call and tightened all valves because they were not installed correctly by other company. He used an advanced electronic valve locator and found all the valves in a couple of minutes.
I think he is professional and honest. I would strongly recommend Top-​Notch to anyone!

We used Top Notch to give our sprinkler system a bit of a checkup. James was great! He was prompt in getting back with us for scheduling, arrived exactly on time, did a great job, and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Top Notch to anyone!

Tried Top Notch after finding them on Unilocal.Called them on two occasions for repairs to our sprinkler system. And have always been really happy with the results.
Whenever I left a message, then the owner called back very promptly. Everyone was always very helpful and professional. They showed up on time. And they completed the repairs very quickly. And the cost for the job was very reasonable.
Top Notch is my go-​to for our sprinkler system now. And I’ve recommended them to my neighbors, as well.

Caveat Emptor! Poor customer service!!! Called them to check & repair my system. They were on time & did the work, but not very thorough. I quickly noticed a couple of sprinkler heads they had replaced weren’t working and others that were working before and replaced to improve coverage didn’t. The lawn was now turning brown due to lack of any water. Ok — no problem, give them a call, get it fixed. THAT was the problem. Left messages 7 – 8 times, no return calls. Finally, James answered his phone. He said he was driving and would call me back after he had a chance to look at his calendar — that’s the last time I talked to him. He never called back or returned any of my later phone calls. By this time a small area of thirsty grass before the repairs, became huge area of die off and no amount of watering would bring it back. I spent a significant amount of $$$ to get the work done and I don’t judge businesses on the problems that occur — those things happen. I rate on what you do to correct it — they didn’t do anything.

With the drought and the water restrictions in town, it was difficult to keep my lawn alive until more rain arrived. After a couple months in the summer of high water bills and yellow grass, I decided that it was time to find an expert who could take a look into my irrigation system. A friend referred me to James and he did an excellent job. He replaced several sprinkler heads that were broken or were uninstalled correctly the first time, and adjusted them in the right directions. I couldn’t believe I was wasting that much money watering the fence and the side of the house!
After a few weeks, my lawn started to look greener and looked a lot healthier than my neighbors’. I actually had to call James again to look at the system again because some of the heads were pushed back to incorrect positions (probably due to the lawn mower) and he came out the next day I called him. Great customer service and professional, I’d highly recommend James and his company!
