Bubs can handle groups from 20 — 850 people in our main area or 4 separate party areas, including 2 private banquet halls.

Bubs offers a full menu with everything from pizza. tacos, burgers, steaks and our famous fish fry. Catering is available both onsite or offsite for events with an appetizer of buffet menu.

We have a great staff. Our staff is experienced and well trained.

We have great music options. We have the best sound system in the area, not to mention the best bands in the Midwest.

We are extremely affordable. What can I say, we are a bar.

History

Established in 2004.

Welcome to BuBs Irish Pub! Located on Main Street in Germantown, Wisconsin, at over 15,000 sq. ft. BuBs might be «the world’s largest Irish pub.» We are a cross between a corner pub and a place that can hold over 1,000 people for any occasion.

The building that BuBs is in has its own history and has been «the» meeting place since the 1890’s. Thousands of weddings, anniversaries, reunions, bachelorette parties, showers and other celebrations have been hosted here and we are honored to continue the tradition of hosting these events for you, your friends and your families.

BuBs has many things to offer you. Whether your interests are live music, playing one of our many games, getting together with friends, having a Friday fish fry or planning a celebration, BuBs has it all.

In the 1990’s I was spending most of my free time with my kids whom were Irish Dancers with the Trinity Irish Dancers. They would compete in feis’s, competitions and shows. The fathers of the dancers would spend a lot of time together. The group of dads became good friends and even created some «dad» events like golf outings and checking out some of the local Irish Pubs for a pint or two. One night, one of the guys said, «We need a name for our group.» Several dads were heading over to Ireland and would come up with a name.

In the spring of 1999, a group of fathers of the Trinity Irish Dancers went to the World Championships of Irish Dance. They checked in to their hotels, got settled and decided to check out a local pub across the street. As lore has it, they walked in to the pub and the woman bartender said, «What’ll you have… Bub?» The guys looked at each other and one of them said, «That’s it, we’re going to be Bubs!»
