Established in 2004.
What started as a hobby in 1976… has become a full service stained glass studio where there is something new (or old) being worked on. Designing and creating beautiful glass projects for residential clients or restoring magnificent old stained glass windows, the studio is equipped to handle all facets of stained glass work. We also have classes to teach the serious craftsperson this wonderful craft and skill.
Meet the Business Owner
Doris C.
Business Owner
There’s always something new being created or old being restored in studio. Doris lectures frequently about her glass experience, especially with regard to the history of a 120-year-old, stained glass window she restored, attributed to being made by Tiffany Studios in the 1890’s. Important 1st steps consist of listening to her clients’ needs and desires, observing the intended space, and understanding the light relationship in the location that will receive the stained glass. Detailed designs are approved before a single piece of glass is cut. Perhaps the most difficult part is choosing from the extensive glass inventory at the studio, however, Doris’s skill in selecting just the right glass for each project from the hundreds at her fingertips is well respected. She is passionate about her art and committed to working closely with her clients involving them in the experience. Students taking her classes have the ability to observe the work of a glassmaster in progress.
