Hai Zhou Village

This was my first order and I was pleased. I had it delivered and it came in about 15 mins. I will order again the food was really good.

The staff here are especially friendly and helpful. I just wish the food was a little tastier. Every dish I tasted was adequate but unremarkable, and tasted like it had been warmed over for awhile. Too bad. They are close enough, and the folks there were really so nice, that I’ll probably give it another try in case I hit an off night.

I decided to try this carry out due to reviews. Ordered $ 55 worth of food and was not impressed.
The hot & sour soup was bland. Shrimp toast were small and tough. Kung Pao Shrimp had small shrimp and a sweet watery sauce.
Customer service was good.

Finally, a really good Chinese Restaurant to replace the old Café Hong Kong. They’ve been tucking menus in our door for a few weeks now so my husband and I decided to give this one a try. We ordered delivery Saturday night, Egg Rolls, Fried Crab Meat Wontons along with Honey Sesame Shrimp with fried rice ($ 1 extra) and for our freebie coupon we got an order of Hot & Sour Soup.
The order arrived unbelievably fast. Everything was there and the portion sizes were very generous, more than enough for that night and left overs the next. The food is the best I’ve had in this area in years. The crab meat wontons were delicious. Definitely will be getting them with every order. The honey sesame shrimp was great. The sauce was so good, like nothing I’ve ever had in a Chinese restaurant before. The egg rolls were fine, nothing special. and I still have the quart of hot & sour soup left for tomorrow.
We will definitely be getting delivery from here regularly. I can’t wait to sample more of their menu!

I have been here SO MANY TIMES and never wrote a review. I am slacking. Anyway, this is my FAVE takeout spot in ALL OF GERMANTOWN. Seriously. I love everything here (except for the honey shrimp… it had a weird texture and I am still contemplating if I will ever give it another try). Their pupu platter rocks, singapore noodles are amazing, beef and broccoli is so yummy and General Tso = NOMS! My fave dish is the General Tso shrimp. So tasty and not heavily breaded which is a major plus. I really enjoy the food and need to try more of their items. Perhaps I will venture on one of their traditional Chinese dishes some day… Anyway, just wanted to say that I am a huge fan and it was about time that I paid my respect and wrote a review for this place that I love so much!

Not a good place when ur there in the place bugs everywhere. the food is very greasy. about the same as all the other bad chinese food in the area.

Came here a second time and thought I’d share a couple more pictures. I ordered the curry chicken this time. It had a little kick to it but I loved it. They give you huge portions! I have enough for lunch tomorrow! The hot and sour soup is also on point here. I know that for a fact because I tried hot and sour soup from another place yesterday and it definitely didn’t taste right. I’d also recommend trying the homemade lemonade. It’s refreshing! Hopefully this place won’t go anywhere anytime soon. I think the only way it’ll survive will be by word of mouth since it isn’t in a high traffic area. I’m doing my part here. Trying to spread the word.

I ordered honey sesame chicken omg it is delicious cooked very we’ll … It’s fresh but the rice isn’t fresh but I’m hungry so I don’t care but I would recommend people getting the sesame chicken and orange chicken… The owner and the service is excellent … !! I didn’t have coins for the tax I told her I don’t have enough she said it’s ok. This is my spot me and my family order food from. Recommend this place for people
