Malco Theatres

By far the best theater in the mid south. Located in beautiful Germantown, the patrons are made up of locals. Always clean, and the seats are the most comfy around! My go to spot for movies.

Theatre is clean and modern. Recently renovated with big soft chairs with rocking backs.

This Malco theater was awesome. Comfortable leather seats & hot popcorn made it a nice place. Even though they have limited movies you can see, but the theater was still immaculate. I will be coming back here soon.

This theater is okay. I like the location of it, and I like that it is small. It has an intimate feeling that Ridgeway Four *used* to offer. The new layout of the lobby feels more modern, with the offices removed and the center island now pushed to that back corner. The seats are great here, too. They’re converting to leather, which I prefer because lice don’t like leather! (Things moms think about.)
The downsides are no Yolo (yet), no booze (yet), and only one bathroom option, way up front. Inconvenient when you’ve got little kids and one of you needs to go mid-​movie! Restroom renovations are coming shortly, though there’s definitely not room to add a second set.
Come check it out– there are lots of great dinner spots nearby for a family movie night. Try Russo’s New York Pizzeria or Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Soul Fish Café, or Panda Express.
Tips: In line at the movies, always choose the geekiest looking employee for the best service. He will be the fastest and the best. Do not trust a hot girl working at the movies– it’s a guaranteed bad move. Ice and water just .75 in a cup. $ 4.00 for a bottle!

This theater is currently mid renovation. It’s not gorgeous right now, but it’s serviceable. They have added big seats and lots of legroom like at Ridgeway, so that’s an upgrade. Hopefully the lobby construction will be done soon. Otherwise, it’s a typical Malco with all the new releases.

Nice — Clean theater. If you are interested in big theaters with large crowds this ain’t for you! If you are interested in 3D, this ain’t for you either. However, if clean theaters and small to moderate crowds are for you THIS is the place in my opinion.
