It includes private lessons on guitar, bass, drums, piano/​keys or vocals and weekly band rehearsals to prepare students for live shows at real rock venues. The authentic on-​stage experience teaches more than musicianship — kids gain outstanding teamwork skills and confidence while having fun with their friends. *

*School of Rock offers programs for preschoolers, kids, teens and adults of all skill levels. Kids just beginning their musical journey can participate in our Rookies, Rock 101 or Lessons+ programs to get a feel for their chosen instrument, the dynamics of group performance and fundamentals of music theory in preparation for our Performance Program. Top students can also audition for our prestigious AllStars program to experience a real concert tour.*

History

Established in 1998.

For more than a decade School of Rock has been inspiring kids to rock on stage and in life. We believe that the best way to learn music is to play music. We take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skill levels. Founded as a single school in Philadelphia, PA in 1998, School of Rock has become a growing international franchise operating close to 100 schools in the U.S. and Mexico.
