Specializing in custom designed and printed invitations and stationery. We are Memphis’ only location offering a design studio within a retail store. The selection of paper stock, ribbons and colors offers something for everyone, and everyone’s budget!

History

Established in 2004.

Shara’s Paperie opened the doors on October 2, 2004. Memphis needed a place for fine paper, exceptional design expertise and of course fabulous and unqiue gifts. Shara Danziger saw the opportunity to bring this shopping experience to Memphis and jumped at it! Over 5 years since opening Shara’s Paperie has established itself with its unique gift selection, custom design and printing department and exceptional customer service.

Shara Danziger opened Shara’s Paperie to bring to Memphis her love of fabulous design, paper, printing, ribbons and unique gifts. With a graphic design background and an entreprenurial sprit Shara and her husband David opened the shop… and have not looked back since.

What a great little surprise tucked away in a small shopping center. The variety is amazing. Be prepared for the price tags. You can’t miss the $ 5, all you can stuff in a bag table, however. You can find some really good gems there.

Shara’s Paperie is a high-​ceilinged stationery shop is stocked with colorful paper and envelopes, small gifts, die-​cut letters and examples of owner Shara Danziger’s custom-​designed stationery, invitations and gifts.
Danziger, whose background is in graphic design, opened Shara’s Paperie seven years ago to do custom work, invitations and personalized stationery. About half of the items in the store are a part of Confections, Danziger’s own line. Most of her business is invitations for weddings, business events and bar mitzvahs.
The shop is also a good place to pick up small, personalized gifts. Shara and her design partner, illustrator Amy Hutchison, combine patterns and kid-​friendly illustrations on plates, cutting boards, small bags and stationery sets. Danziger told me that she tries to carry items that are unique to her shop.

This is a large stationery store that also specializes in custom invitations. They have a graphic designer on staff that will help bring your creative vision to life.
You can also find handmade paper there for $ 5.00 for a large sheet, as well as cute greeting cards, and a wide array of colored and patterned papers. There are several recycled options, which is nice for the environment.
