Gas is a little pricey here at $ 2.03 at 6:30pm on a Monday. But with it being dark at this time and this gas station being in a well lit, well developed, and always busy I feel safe gasing up here. The accompanying store is always clean, a little pricey however, but the people are normal at least. This gas station is a solid three.

This former Sunoco is now a Shell. Regardless of the franchise change, it was and still is absolutely a ripoff and lie business — you have been warned! I usually pay with Shell gift cards and have gotten CASH rate at EVERY Shell station in Maryland and Virginia for the past 10 years, EXCEPTTHISONE giving out CREDIT rate. When I politely asked, the female Indian owner and her young man employee gave me an angry look as if I disrespected them. They LIED and said the Shell’s payment system is setup to apply Shell gift card at CREDIT rate ANYWHEREINAMERICA. Why they would make up such a cheap lie just to rip off customers extra 10 cents/gallon is beyond me. Just to clarify: Shell’s payment system actually accepts Shell gift cards at CASH rate, as evidenced if you try to DIY at the pump. If you pay inside, this station will rip you off and apply credit rate instead, which I suspect is against Shell’s franchise rule. I think this store changed franchise from Sunoco to Shell because it had done some franchise practices detected illegal by Sunoco previously.

Robert, is a friendly, customer-focused owner always keeping the satisfaction of consumers in mind while operating the station. And he just recently invested in remodeling the interior of the shop — looks great.
